This chain of Amma Unavagam was started from the days of former CM Dr. J Jayalalitha, a very good initiative that's helped many people, especially low & medium income group people.. Many may have not tried this place, but the food is delicious.. The hygiene is also well maintained.. Had my lunch packed from this place many a times.. I don't support this concept. Here most of the lazy people get their daily food in subsidy rate. Apart from there could be some genuine old people visit this place for their essential need food sometime...
