Tiffin Shastra offers amazing food that truly stands out in terms of taste and quality. However, the overall experience is let down by several service and management issues.
Pros: • The dining area is clean and tidy, creating a pleasant ambiance to enjoy the meal. • The food is delicious, and the pricing is reasonable for the ambiance provided.
Cons: • Service is poor and unorganized, with no proper system to handle orders efficiently. • There is only one dosa maker, while an additional pan is left unused. Utilizing that could significantly speed up the service. • The kitchen cleanliness needs improvement, as it doesn’t match the standards of the dining area. • Seating is very limited, accommodating only 12 people at a time, leaving others to eat outside, which can be uncomfortable. • Basic amenities like tissues near the handwash area are missing, which should be addressed for better hygiene.
While the food is excellent, the management needs to work on improving the service, kitchen cleanliness, and seating capacity to create a better dining...
Read moreThe Tiffen Shastra hotel boasts a charming ambiance with cozy seating arrangements, soft lighting, and tasteful decor that create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. However, despite its pleasant surroundings, the hotel suffers from a lack of hygiene that can be off-putting to customers. The cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas are subpar, with dirty utensils and tables often being overlooked by staff. This oversight can detract from the overall dining experience and leave patrons feeling uneasy about the quality of food and service at the establishment. While the Tiffin Shastra hotel may have potential to be a top dining destination, addressing these cleanliness issues is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The dosa was extremely heavy and loaded with ghee, which made it quite greasy and difficult to enjoy. On the other hand, the bread butter jam was decent, but I feel it's a bit overrated. I personally prefer the one from Gopal Dairy in Parrys, which is much better in my opinion.
One of the major issues I encountered was the time it took to get the bill and then the food. The wait was incredibly long, making it difficult to manage, especially when dining with senior citizens and kids. The place was also very noisy, which added to the discomfort. Another concerning factor was the lack of organization; it seemed like anyone could take our food, and the staff struggled to manage the crowd effectively.
Overall, while some of the food was decent, but the service and ambiance left much...
