Anmol Mohit Patiala shop makes the best Kesar(saffron) lassi in the town. The word Anmol means priceless just like his lassi.

The lassi is thick, rich and made with a good amount of saffron.

The person making this has been doing it for years making him the best in the business.

Very average Lassi shop running only on the hype not on the taste. The attitude of the owner is worse than the taste. The cost is so high for the taste. The paper straw given is of so low grade that the paper taste dominates the lassi taste.

Cost of one full lassi Rs.180. When we gave the shock look the words from the owner were "if you want to drink this good lassi you should be ready to spend such huge money, in next 15 days will rise it to Rs.210, you won't be coming to this shop after that I believe". Such attitude will never make your business grow.

And the owner is mouthful of pan and spits it right inside the shop in front of the customers. The place looks such shabby with all the pan splits.

Bombay Lassi behind Devi theater is miles away from Anmol Lassi in...

The owner is psychic! Taste is not worth for the money we’re paying.

TLDR, My experience is, we went to showcarpet for a purchase and we checked for famous foods in and around. We got this shop recommendation, and the influencer is promoting like anything.

Absolutely worst behaviour expressed by the owner for asking a question “What other foods were famous here to try?”.

I am not even made compliant for the price, taste or the unhygienic place, bcz we know how the area is, but just a common question triggered him that much.

If he was nice and suggested some places around (he is free and no customers there at the time I asked the question, I asked bcz of no rush only) it will be beneficial to the community he is from.

Finally his “Tamil Vazhga” is nothing but...

I was attracted because of the hype created and it was also called as Kesar lassi, but it was nothing more than an ordinary lassi with yellow colouring. The price was like rupees 90 for half and 180 for full, seriously? I can get the lassi with a much better taste at a cost of rupees 40 from the lassi shops in Zam bazar, near triplicane and Bombay lassi behind Devi theater, they charge like around 80 for their special lassi and is much better than the lassi in this shop for the price we pay. In a nut shell, please don't get fooled by the hype. If you feel like having a drink in the same area, consider badam milk from kakada Ram Prasad which is next to that lassi shop, it is 10 times better than that lassi for the price we pay.
