Hotel Prayag — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Today visited Sowkarpet to buy dress for my daughter, after few hours felt tired and hungry. I've felt to try authentic North Indian dishes that moment I saw this hotel, in an entrance they got Pani puri stall and pav, Kajori and channa masala counter. I opted for A/C dining hall located in a first floor. Hotel staffs are really polite and whatever we ordered will bring all items very quickly without any hesitation. Menus are very good and we tried few chat items taste are really fantastic. I recommend this shop for taking family members to enjoy North Indian food.

With no other option, Went to this hotel while visiting sowcarpet. Ordered butter naan, gravies, dosa and some snacks. I must say, the taste was very bad and Service was extremely poor. We waited for 40 mins for a single tea, the waiter later casually came and told that it’s unavailable. I seriously don’t understand why it took 40 mins for them to say that it’s not available. Also I ordered 3 naan for take away .After coming to home I realised they gave us only 2. This is the very first time I’m giving this much negative review to a restaurant. It's difficult to run a restaurant business in a profitable manner, that too the pandemic played havoc to hoteliers and customers. But remember this Hotel prayag bhavan started nearly 5decade ago has seen ups and downs and withstood with loyal and dedicated customers base by maintaining nice taste good service with reasonable price in mint street.It has small capacity say 30 to 40,but food lovers get unforgettable taste here.Takeaway table service card payment available.
