I am from Delhi I just visited chennai 4 or 5 days ago so Today I searched for veg restaurant near me then I visited and dine in the restaurant with my wife and I ordered some North Indian food for me. The person who was serving us not there at the time when we finished our meal. So after dinner we personally go to the bill counter and told them which items we ordered and ask them our bill. They generate the bill and I pay the whole amount and then he told us to wait and I ask them what happened he told me that your parcel is getting ready. Then I explained him that we already have the dinner on that table. After that he says in his Tamil language that you didn't tell me that you already have it. Then I say this is your restaurant you have to knowledge your customers who is getting parcel or who is eating is the restaurant. He was also asking for the bill generated to parcel amount forcefully that the bill is generated now you have to pay this amount also. His behaviour was soo rude he was not thinking that I came to the restaurant with my family.its not about the money he was asking.Non cooperative person in the billing counter. Just the waste of...

I did not have an option to give a negative rating else I would have given it. The reason being I Ordered 5 items in their Valasaravakkam branch by walking in. Out of which they did not give one item. When checked with them they said that mistakes like this will happen only. Also, ordered for tandoori roti and mushroom masala for which they gave plain naan and paneer masala. For this also they said it will happen like this only. Their staff are pathetic and don’t know what customer service is. Especially there is an aged supervisor who gives this atrocious answers. If you ever want to get parcel food you better go to a pushcart but not to this place for godsake. They also think that customers are jobless and cooly ask us to come and get the missing item. If you order by Zomato or Swiggy that’s it it’s even more worse. Final verdict - there are several restaurants in the vicinity who values their customers and if you want your hard earned money not to get wasted never ever dine or take delivery from Bakya Veg Restaurant,...

Way back in early 90s, an humble start up made in 10x15 room in Jaisankar street, Mambalam, where in we were the first section of people who started supporting this small restaurant.

Over the years,Bakya picked up good reputation. There are plenty of well known public figures who usedth be the customers like Sundar Pitchai, the father in law of Glen Maxwell, Neyveli Santhana Gopalan, et el.

The speciality of Bakya is the sambar to start with and then the Crispy Masala Dosa, which will slave you on one dip.

The entire variey of food is so sumptuous at the location for a hot bite.

Over the years I understand, they moved up and started branches in Chennai.

Valasaravakkam unit is far luxurious compared to the start up.
