We recently visited the Erode branch of Barbeque Nation for the first time, and the experience exceeded all our expectations.
The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. A special mention goes to Mr. Deepam, whose hospitality was truly impressive. He not only explained the various dishes with great enthusiasm but also went out of his way to ensure our comfort. His thoughtful gesture of providing a special dish, kulfi, and even balloons for our two-year-old child allowed us, as parents, to enjoy the meal stress-free.
Mr. Deepam was later joined by another employee, Saaki, who further enhanced our experience by entertaining our little one. This extra effort helped prevent cranky moments, allowing us to dine peacefully—a rare treat for parents dining with young children.
The restaurant manager also contributed significantly to our positive experience. He frequently visited our table to check on the taste of the food and ensure that we had everything we needed. Towards the end, he surprised us with a special serving of curd rice, which was absolutely delicious and a thoughtful touch.
The highlight of our visit was the team’s heartfelt gesture to celebrate our baby boy’s birthday. The entire team gathered to offer a small birthday cake and sing for him, making it a memorable moment. Our little one was overjoyed, and we truly appreciated this personal touch.
We may have misspelled the names of the employees mentioned above, but we hope your team can identify the right individuals and recognize them for their outstanding service.
Overall, the two hours of exceptional hospitality and care we received were beyond what we had anticipated. The entire Barbeque Nation team deserves applause for their dedication to creating such a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to...
Read moreWe had booked a table for 8 people for a 2:30 pm lunch. When we reached, there was no table available. What’s the point of booking then? We ended up waiting outside, and while waiting, multiple people coming out were literally telling us “Don’t go, food is worst”.
We were also shocked to know there was no grill section for lunch – only buffet. This was never mentioned anywhere. When we asked the receptionist to call the manager, a guy named Sohail came. Instead of clarifying politely, his attitude was extremely rude – smirking and making it seem like we came for a free lunch. He even mocked saying “How can someone give grill for ₹399?”. When we asked why this was not updated on the website, his response was “That’s not my problem, you should have called before coming.”
Even after all this, the table we booked for 2:30 was only given at 3:10 pm, after standing for 40 minutes. Service was terrible – starters were served only once and after that no waiter came near our aisle. All the staff were focused only on the middle section.
The buffet spread was very disappointing: • Chicken biriyani without chicken • Egg curry without egg • No curd rice available • Naan arrived literally when we were paying the bill.
We even asked for a small celebration cake, and they said it would take 20–30 minutes. By then everyone had lost patience. The toilet was also clogged and no one bothered to clean.
We have been to multiple Barbeque Nation outlets in Bangalore and never faced anything like this. But this Erode outlet is the worst ever. Specially, Sohail needs to learn basic manners – customers don’t come here because they don’t have other options, we come expecting a good experience. Staff like this can completely ruin our day.
Never coming...
Read moreErode is home to several excellent barbeque restaurants, each offering unique flavors and ambiance. One of the standout spots is "Barbeque Nation." Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant provides a memorable dining experience with a wide variety of grilled options, from succulent chicken and mutton kebabs to vegetarian delights like paneer tikka and grilled vegetables.
The live grill concept, where diners can barbecue their food right at the table, is a major draw. The buffet also offers a mix of Indian, Chinese, and continental dishes, ensuring something for everyone. The dessert section is equally tempting, with a variety of sweets, pastries, and ice creams.
Service is prompt, and the staff is friendly, always ready to help with customizations and ensuring a comfortable experience. The restaurant is spacious, with a lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for family gatherings and celebrations.
Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and variety of food make it worth the spend. Overall, Barbeque Nation in Erode is a great choice for those looking to indulge in a hearty barbecue meal. However, it’s best to book in advance, especially during weekends, as it tends to...
