This cafe is located on the way to Botanical Garden. It is a small cozy space with 4 tables. Tea is the focus here and it's everywhere. They also have a food menu with items like pizzas, sandwiches, and french fries. And there's chocolate. There was a political rally going on when I visited, so there were some party supporters at the cafe. The teas range from affordable to expensive, but the options are plenteous. I settled for one called "Peace of Mind," which one of the staff explained contains different teas. I also wanted to try one of the chicken burgers, but they had run out of them. I settled for French Fries and Potato Cheese Pops. The snacks arrived quickly, but the "Peace of Mind" was not living up to its name. I think because it was a combination of teas, the preparation is a bit more complex and it's served cold. I waited patiently. When it did arrive, it surprised me. It had a pinkish color and tasted great! The Peace of Mind cost Rs. 120 and with the snacks, the bill came to Rs. 273.

Read moreI am not sure if all the reviews here are paid or fake because our experience was far from it! I read great reviews and drove 40 minutes to reach this cafe at 6:25 pm exactly only to be greeted very rudely and told that the cafe shuts at 7pm while Google clearly mentions 9pm! I was so excited and eager to try their tea only to be met with such disappointment
We went to Sugar Dribble cafe from there where we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Another large group who were there at Buddies came to sugar dribble shortly after. So owners pls note , you’re losing esteemed customers due to poor service.
Pls avoid this cafe if you want to save your precious time.
What’s worse, I went the next day to their commercial road branch which was even worse. The lady didn’t even look at our face. We waited for 5-7 mins patiently while she chatted away on the phone and finally left! My family was so mad at me for making them visit the same cafe twice only to be greeted by the most...
