Chocomans — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We ordered 1 KG choco truffle cake for our kid's 7th birthday with clearly stating what should be written on the cake.

Placing the order on 12-Feb evening, we got 'repeated calls for making the payment immediately' which we did after 15 minutes as I was busy with work.

On the 13th the cake was delivered by 7PM (as they don't have any delivery slots before that). A cake which we ordered for a birthday didn't have the word Birthday which they missed to write & didn't even check before packing the cake. Attached images for reference (kid's name masked).

I called Chocomans Velachery store to check on the mess they made by sharing the pics, the person on the other end took 15 minutes to check & called me again saying that it was sent by their bakery directly as if he is not working for Chocomans later he started convincing me saying that they will provide a Cake Topper & what about the words written on the cake??? It can't be taken out... Which will mess the entire cake. We then asked for a refund for which they suggested an alternative of providing a simple standard cake which we didn't like... The person just was asking for sorries which will not get us the same day & time...

Chocomans Owners or Leadership - Should see this note & take it seriously as your employees are playing with others emotions and soon will ruin your entire business. We can walk-in to any store nearby to get a standard template cake which is available on the shelf with the wordings that we need, why are we ordering a day before with you by paying the entire bill amount? We just wanted a cake of our choice. Without a penny missing you are collecting the payment by when we place the order and why can't you deliver the rite agreed product?

Worst Experience.. i went to order / enquire regarding engagement cakes.. Before I go there, i checked out the model and design that I liked to order from their online site. I got to know that there was price difference of around Rs.200 extra if we book offline/direct buy from shop. When i asked why there is a price difference, i got reply from the sales representative that, it is because, Online you will get 30% off if we are first time customer. - buy from shop - it is not available.. If we buy from online, though we select time slot in online chocoman's official website - it seems delivery will not be done on time .. this was the reply given by Sales representative.. and he said if we book via store - they will provide it on time .. this is completely not accepted.. service needs to be same either we go - offline/online booking.. Delivery time - we requested for morning 9 am delivery - he said it is not possible, we changed time to 10am - that is also not possible, 11.30am - even that is not possible .. then we asked when it is possible - he said - we start delivery only after 12.30am so which means if we opt for morning deliveries - Chocoman cannot support.. weewww.. in this fast moving world with all these restrictions i decided to go with another Cake maker .. When i again asked him .. what if someone is arranging for morning functions whether Chocoman will not be able to provide.?? I got a answer from sales representative that in that case, you will need to buy and keep cakes 1 day prior the function... Spending thousands of money on cake and again doing hospitality for the cake is not a...

First time am ordering birthday cakes for our daughter 1st birthday.

It was candy theme.The moment I decided to order I had given my suggestions to Muthuvel and he was super responsive to all my questions. I had shared a pictures of what is required,Muthuvel ensured to capture everything in detail and it was exact match.

Muthuvel you really did a wonderful job,it's really good to have a responsible like you because bday is smthng very special to all and cake plays a massive role. It's very important to have someone very attentive and clear on getting the details and came to party place and done the job very well..

Cake was very yummy and delicious, everyone loved it 😋

Delivered on time to party hall thanks to Delivery person as well.....
