BUHARI-TARAMANI ROAD — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I am giving 1 star not because of food but because of management there.... hopelessly useless 2 restaurant managers keep walking up n down over there with one poor server running around to serve food.

Last time we went to this place we waited for roti for 15 mins after the main dish was served... which got cold by the time roti arrived.

We dont know what were we thinking that we went to this place again( think only because of food).

Our start to end was a bad experience.

We got the corner place which was full of mosquitoes and full time we had to hush them off.

We ordered for paya or lamb leg soup. After some time we could hear the server asking the other one..where is this table order... so our order was given to some1 else.

Quickly they started placing main course.... when we asked for my starter n soup...they said they will bring afterwards... we asked them to bring souo n starter first.

After 10 mins soup came ... which was pepper n paya thrown in a bowl of starch... we complained to the tall manager..they said sorry...n we didnt get the soup.

The manager... tall one went in the kitchen and we could hear people fighting inside..it was too loud .

Than came our food... the roti n naan where the ones which they brought earlier so they were cold.... we pointed it out... so they took them inside...microwaved it n brought them back... so the naan was all strechy n rubber like.... next was buhari chicken masala... a dish which is 230 rs... not even half bowl of curry with only (almost) two 2 inches pieces... so that 1 piece costed us rs 115... which is too expensive... but by now we were soo sooo upset with the experience that we just wanted to get over with our food and leave.

We ordered for one more roti n naan...which came after 15 mins.... the short manager got it... my roti was cold... so i told him... he says but naan is hot... my husband asked me not to say anything more. Is your tandoor 10 inches by 10 inches in size that first u made roti n than naan... hence the roti became cold.

Such poor management... despite having crowd there were only 2 servers out of whom poor one was rushing around.... in these times even the owner of the hotel starts serving but these 2 managers were walking and talking with each other as if they have lot of time in hand.

Worst experience..... buhari your food is excellent...but your management is zero... same experience happened at buhari omr .. we stopped going over there... and this is the worst ecperience we ever had at any hotel...never again will we...

Worst service and food ever in such a kinda restaurant. First of all the food not at all upto the taste and quality as in the main branch. I was happened go this restaurant last week saturday along with my husband and my sister in laws family. We really felt very disappointing in all the ways.

3 out of 5 dishes were not available. We couldn't have anything of our choice. Finally we have to opt within the few available items. That too no mutton no sea foods only chicken!! It wasnt even late night. We were inside the restaurant before 9 pm.

Waiters are too lazy to take the orders. They will peep from somewhere else and ask you what you want.

They took long time to serve the food after taking order. Evey dish came after 20 mts interval. So we shared whatever comes first.

All the plates and bowl we used were left in the table untill we leave the restaurant. Very bad they havent removed it.

Nothing special about the ambience.

Food not worth for the price at all.

-Biriyani items are really worst. -Chicken 65 is so hard and dry. Can't even chew. -Casatta ice cream came to table after 15 - 20 mts. It was melted all over the plate when the serve Falooda - pathetic. First time ever seeing adding pappaya in falooda. May be i havnt had. Pappaya was stinking. Pineapple is very raw unripened. It tasted very tangy. Apple was ok but not fresh. Ice cream toppings tasted good. Ordered 3 falooda but no ate. We told to waiter that the fruits in the falooda is old and not good. He said they just bought the fruits and there is no such chance to add old ones. -lamb leg soup was ok. -Ceylon paratha and dragon chicken tasted good.

No enough waiters to attend, i guess no enough chefs to cook as well. Main thing is there is nothing in the kitchen to cook and serve. I guess they are planning to close this branch in Taramani road. First floor is already closed, only ground floor is open.

As we raised complaint about the delay and the quality, they made 10% discount from the bill. Who wants ?? They spoiled our...

I went to this hotel yesterday. Some of my friends told that their branch in vadapalani is nice so we choose this. We 11 members went for treat around 9 pm. The starters are good but not up to the level.. they dont know how to prepare some items.. particularly lamp dry nothing in that I called the service man and complained about this he said its buhari special What an answer !!!!!!. even GOBI 65 is not good. I think the chef's are new. We ordered main course and no one eat fully, no taste. only cylon chicken parota and bhuari ranjani parota is good. Totally the food is not upto the level. finally we ordered lime soda with sweet& salt.. it was like lime juice with sweet and salt.. we can see they mixed soda but didnt feel the taste.. again i called that person and asked whether the soda is opened already or new one.. he simply said no gas in baking soda... after that i ordered one more.. this time they brilliantly prepared with more lime and salt...so that you can't identify the soda taste know.. The biggest comedy is, the lady sat opposite to our table took half an hour class how to prepare the dish they ordered. they didnt want to hear those and simply said we prepared correctly but she was damn sure that the dish is so badly prepared.. We went to almost all the restaurants in velachery but never had such a bad experience..
