I recently visited Ovenfresh Velachery to order a birthday cake and indulge in some of their snacks. We opted for a butterscotch cake, and while it was tasty, I felt it lacked that fresh-baked essence that one hopes for. The cake was flavorful and had a delightful richness, but it seemed like it had been sitting out for a bit. I learned that if you order in advance, they prepare fresh cakes, but if you want something immediately, you might have to settle for the cold ones.
The texture of the cake was surprisingly soft, which I appreciated, as sometimes pre-made cakes can be hard. However, I wish there were more varieties of eggless cakes available, as I only found a limited selection.
On a positive note, the ambiance of the place was cozy, making it a nice spot for grabbing a quick bite or a sweet treat. I also noticed their selection of snacks, including pizzas and pastries, which looked tempting. Overall, while my experience with the birthday cake was not perfect, I believe Ovenfresh Velachery has potential, especially if you plan ahead for fresher options. I look forward to trying more items from their menu...
Read moreI used to have pizzas at this Velachery Ovenfresh and it always used to be a pleasant experience. The manager is very cordial and takes care of all the customer needs and details. Last month I ordered a Blue Berry cake and it was delivered right on time. The taste was really good and it was fresh as well. It lasted for few more days and we had it. Yesterday I ordered a Black Forest cake and this one was having a very rich and creamy experience with no artificial flavours or essence smell. It was very good, better than other Black Forest cakes I had elsewhere. To quote in one line, "These people know what they are doing". Excellent cakes and pastries delivered on time is their highlight. The manager makes sure it is delivered on time without any reminder. Try once and you will...
Read moreI ordered a grilled sandwich through Swiggy’s Buy 1 Get 1 offer in taramani link road branch, but the experience turned out to be misleading. While ordering, the options were presented as “half” and “full” sandwich, and in a rush, I selected “half,” assuming it referred to a complete sandwich. The price was around ₹130, so I proceeded with the Buy one get one deal. However, when the order arrived, I realized that I had actually selected just half a sandwich. In the end, I ended up paying for what was essentially a single, regular-sized sandwich with poor-quality sauce and stale chicken. This review is just to inform others, as I understand that I may not have a valid complaint from a...
