Dhani Restaurant - Kaldan Samudhra — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We went as a family for my wife's birthday for this restaurant on friday dinner. Without any doubt, this hotel is beautifully built/crafted. The pool view and small tajmahal reflected in water are picturesque. They offered a complementary cake and also let us cut it in front of the pool view

Parking wise, no difficulty. There is a valet.

Service wise, chef rupesh and bishal went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They catered to a special request of french fries for my 4 year old without any extra charges.

Coming to food, we were expecting extraordinary spread, but it was not so. It seemed to me that they focused on the quality of each dish instead of the number of items i would say. We had 3 nv starters and 3 nv main dishes and around 8 deserts. There were lots of veggie options, too, but as we were non veg lovers, we did not explore that much.

In conclusion, for 2000 plus tax per adult and grandeur/craftmanship of the resort, naturally one would expect extraordinary spread of food. Even though this restaurant more than compensates with their service and grandeur, increasing the spread...

Visited for Sunday’s Brunch and they had quite a lot of varieties.

They had chaat items , breads and buns and different varieties of fish fry which was freshly done as per choice.

They had a quite a lot of salad varieties and special mention to the rose drink that they had which tasted great.

Then we ordered for prawn 🍤 tempura and it tasted great with the sweet chilli sauce.

Among the starters special mention to the whole fish they had along with orange sauce which was a great combo.

Coming to the main Thai coconut noodles with Vietnamese veg curry tasted exceptionally great.

Most of the desserts that we tasted had the flavour retained as per the ingredients used too good and out of that some of the outstanding desserts among those were Hazelnut crème Brûlée, Toffee Bavaroise , Almond Praline Gateaux and...

Visited for dinner buffet ! One of the best experiences and one of the top notch buffet food ever. So many varieties and huge variety of dishes were there vegetarians. Every single dish was subtle including the desserts ( not much sugary yet was delicious) and of great quality which quite good so that you can try one more time. Best thing is if you want anything special separately they will make it for you like dosa , yogurt etc So would say definitely worth it.

Only suggestion for their areas of improvement is that they can add one or two more varieties for non vegetarians side as the variety is limited plus there were some flies inside the restaurant and hopefully I guess these two feedbacks will be taken care & worked out by the management at...
