DJ's Bakery Adambakkam (Chennai) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I ordered a custom cake for my parents' wedding anniversary, and it has a lot more elements than a normal cake.

It was a two tier cake with lots of decoration, and these guys nailed it! I sent them a picture for reference when I was ordering the cake, and they made it exactly the way it looked in the picture!

Most bakeries make cakes look good, but use substances that don't taste good or could be harmful for health (I suppose it depends on the type of cake you're ordering too). So I was worried about the taste of the cake, especially because it's a huge one and it might get wasted if nobody eats it. But the taste was absolutely amazing!

It was so fluffy, and easy to cut and work with, whilst also being juicy once you start eating it.

The decorations were done perfectly and honestly they exceeded my expectations.

Not just that, they were very friendly, and kept me informed everytime I asked for an update. I even had a few last minute additional requirements, and they helped me with that too, without any additional costs.

I'll give you a small example: Along with the cake, they gave me a packet. Guess what it had? A bunch of disposable plates, spoons, candles and tissues! Because I bought a huge cake, they understood that it's going to be a big party, and they gave these things without even me asking for them. That is so thoughtful.

That showcases how they approach their work, value their customers and focus on attention to detail.

And to top it all off, the prices are significantly lower than an online premium service like Smoor, who now feels less premium than these guys.

I don't have enough praise for these guys- 100/10...

We ordered two 3 tier cakes for 1st birthday in 3kg , they delivered it in 4 nd half kg each. As in DJ's bakery they offer 1/2 kg free for every 1kg. DARK FOREST flavour they dleivered with less sugar syrup & good spongy cake. The sweetness was on point , the cake didnt go watery even after it was kept outside for so many hours in the event before cake cutting. Thats the highlight. Now a days fresh cream cake become so watery if we keep it out for sometime , but in DJ's bakery darkforest flavour its not like that. They delivered in good comdition with 70 to 80 plates & tissues. I felt delivery charges alone little high as our location was just 10mins away from their shop. We accept cab is required for 2 big cakes. But still shop can offer something on this side as we ordered for nearly 8k. Another good thing i felt about them They suggest well , when we think about acrylic toppers for name of babies & happy birthday which came around 250 extra. They said if u want to cutdown that costs we can keep name in fondant & give. Nice service DJ bakery. Impressed with your balanced sweetness , not over sugary like some other cake shops. They also 95% matched the design as we showed in reference pictures which we took from insta.
