Huge shopping mall we experienced at chennai, a very big and beautiful food court. Privacy for eating. They have a screen layout of the shopping mall which is really interesting. Me and my friends spend their almost 3-5 hours. Branded showrooms, lengthily common area more and to be experienced here

Located at the heart of the 100 feet road, Velachery. The side walks are free to enter, You can enter almost anytime and everytime. The problem is that the water of this lake is extremely contaminated and it produces a sore smell on almost all the parts around it. I won't suggest to visit the place after evening because everytime I went for a walk I found bunch of people in groups consuming liquors on the sidewalk. The place can be created as a recreational spot but the neither the government nor the people who lives near to the lake have any regards for it. Not a great place to visit although have the potential to be if the government take initiative and maintain it regularly. I won't recommend it to anyone.

Actually this lake should get 5 stars, am giving only one star, cos it's very poorly maintained by the chennai corporation, I still remember Government said they are going to start boat service to attract people, still it has not done, more over we the public also making it a dump yard as well as urinating and all nonsense. Some seasons we can find spotted pelicans here. It has a very good view. Especially evenings it has a beautiful view with the amber sun. Hope the Corporation and we the public will maintain it properly.

This Velachery Lake View where me and my friends admire the lake view at evening time. Got admired by the Beauty of this lake view with my close friends chit chat and with some snacks!!!Velachery has became one of my native place!!! Stayed Here, Studied Here, Struggled Here!!!

A wonderful to view on the time of 5pm to 6.10pm cause the sunset will be stunned you..its good place to chitchat with friends and family...it's next to a busy road but you can enjoy your own time with calmness and joyfull...I take shot on perfect time ..you will enjoy this

A wonderful site to visit at sunset. Located on the busy 100 feet road, the scenes are eye soothing. It has a great potential for becoming a tourist spot if maintained well. The water is contaminated and the side-walk needs upkeep.

Description
Velachery aeri, or Velachery lake, is one of the lakes inside Chennai, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, with a good stock of water all through the year. Since Velachery is a low-lying area, the monsoon rain water from the neighbouring areas are drained into this lake.
