Golcondas Chef — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I guess the rating all they got is from the Andhra people, who would blindly put 5 star for their hotel from motherland, BUT not me.. I ordered Mutton biriyani online.. The quantity was Ok but the taste was worst.. Firstly, there was 3 options - Hyderabadi mutton Biriyani, Dum Mutton Biriyani and Nawabi Mutton Biriyani.. Hyderabadi is Andhra Style, Dum is different mostly Tamilnadu style and No Idea about Nawabi.. So I ordered Dum Biriyani.. But what I got was Hyderabadi biriyani, because I have taste Hyderabadi several time and several hotels and I know the difference in Taste.. Secondly, the rice tasted good, matched the Hyderabadi taste, but the Mutton, MY GOD, Not at all cooked.. It felt like I was eating mutton which was cooked in forest with just Water and no salt or masala.. Tasted very bad.. Raita, brinjal curry and small Gulab jamun was provided as extra.. Brinjal curry was just watery.. I did not touch Raita as I already prepared it home and though Gulab Jamun was small, taste was fine.. OVERALL, bad food from Golcondas.. Well, I had to purchase from here as I lost all other options online, as I was ordering late around 2:30 PM.. Will never order from...

We went here for the first time seeing all the reviews. From the beginning till we got our bill everything got on our nerves. The most we felt raged was the waiter had completely forgotten the starter we ordered. And we on the other hand ignored it as it will be too late for a starter. That waiter was also no where to be found he literally forgot our table. Not even when we received our bill. The worst thing happened here. Another person came just to make sure we need anything else, assuming he's the manager there. We informed him about the waiter and his negligence. We paid for what we got and while leaving we heard the waiter telling the manager that we never ordered a starter to him at all. When I confronted him he still bluffed that we must've given a running order to somebody else. But the fact is nobody got any of our orders except him. NO COURTESY TO ASK SORRY AND IN ADDITION BLAMING THE CUSTOMERS FOR HIS FAULT. Thanks a lot Golcondas chef. Really fantastic Restaurant. Kudos Guys. Keep running your hotel with such pathetic waiters. You'll reach the peak in your business. Shame...

Thinking biriyani??? dont think any place else. Have tried the mushroom biriyani, veg special and non veg special multiple times. They serve the same awesomeness time and again. One portion is enough to make two people's stomach full. Let me tell you that I've had biriyani in some of the best biriyani houses in Hyderabad but this place beats them all. The biriyani is not hot on the tongue and spicy as it is in other places but its flavorful as they make there own special masala and their yummy salna (takes a day to get the salna ready I was told but worth the wait). There is lots more than just biriyani like tandoori, north indian and oriental dishes. Have tried the north indian dishes and I must say I was surprised that they were able to serve multi cuisine dishes with the best taste and quality. The service is wonderful too. They were able to customize the north indian dishes to our liking. Please please please continue to serve the same quality of food especially...
