The Cascade — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Service : We entered around 2:50 pm. They could have said, this is the restaurant closing time. Instead while having food itself, they asked to leave coz restaurant has to be closed. I stopped eating, left the food and got out..We were sent out at 3:40 pm. Never experienced this gesture anywhere else.We were asking for small portion of noodles where he said only large available on what we chose. We asked him to suggest one and he is like please read the menu. And when we chose one and asked how it would be, he is like read the description. How rude. Because these people get service charge easily in every bill, they are like this to customers. Regret not cancelling that.

Bill : 1881 with 101 service charge for this wonderful treatment. Please pay bill only while leaving here. If I knew this would not have paid that service charge. Gst 88 rs.

Food : We ordered lung fung soup, potato wedges, thai noodles, yumein noodles and chilli dragon bao. Food was extremely oily and saucy. Only soup tasted good. Potato wedges are actually a mediocre oily Manchurian Yumein noodles tasted okay buy again so oily. Dragon bao waste, Sweeter n average. Thai noodles, flat rice noodles which was yuck. Sauce was too bad.

Better don't visit cascade. Totally...

The ambience is very good! The service was not very standard,more like a local restaurant! There are not enough employees to attend to ten tables of guests! We had to wait for 3 hours to complete our limited order. Tried our patience! Charged us service charges of ₹.200/-( which is not allowed) for such sloppy service. Moreover, the waiter tried to remove plates while we were waiting bcoz new customers were waiting. It was very unprofessional! So it was no fine dining experience but just a local. Hot chips or A2B or any other restaurant where you have to snatch at tables and self serve counters. Very mediacore! Lot of current cuts . AC had to be asked for! Food also was not extraordinary! Menu had items which were unavailable! Nothing much...

The worst Chinese food i have ever had......they have a lot of tomato ketchup in stock i believe and they use it abundantly in all their dishes, so they taste only ketchupy....they dont have any experience base in cooking chinese. Please find any other place to eat.....DO NOT EAT HERE.... The staff do not know what the dish is and asked which sauce, they stare at you.. Very unprofessional setup and very shameless staff who do not even acknowledge their mistake.... When we were having our food in an almost empty restaurant, a take away customer barged im and threw all the food he had bought , and abused the staff and the manager for the filthy food they cooked.
