Worst Experience Ever!

My brother and I visited this hotel for dinner, and we were met with incredibly disrespectful behavior from both the staff and the manager. Although the server spoke Hindi, which we aren’t very comfortable with, we tried our best to communicate. We ordered a single Masala Dosa to share, and to our surprise, the server mocked us in Hindi. I chose to stay silent at that moment.

When the dosa arrived, we politely asked for chutney, but the server began shouting at us in Hindi. I calmly asked him not to speak to us like that, using the little Hindi I know. This only made things worse—he started yelling even louder and threatened to beat us. This aggressive behavior triggered a heated exchange.

To make matters worse, the manager stood by laughing instead of intervening. Regardless of how the food tastes, the atmosphere and treatment we received made the experience unbearable. We traveled a long way to get here and expected at least a basic level of respect.

I regret to share a disappointing experience I had at this restaurant. Despite arriving and waiting patiently, I observed a concerning pattern of preferential treatment towards South Indian customers. While I waited for 20 minutes without even being acknowledged, I noticed other South Indian patrons being promptly served. Even after bringing the issue to the attention of the receptionist, the waitstaff continued to disregard my presence. It became evident that this behavior was intentional, as all the waiters chose to ignore my request for service, despite being directed by the receptionist. As a result, I left the restaurant without having lunch. Discrimination of any kind has no place in the hospitality industry, and it deeply impacts the overall dining experience. I urge the management to address these issues promptly to ensure that all customers are treated with fairness...

This is a privately managed & run restaurant in a trust premises. We had South Indian meals & ghobi/paneer 65 here. The place was full & people were waiting for seats. The service is very fast & meal is served very quickly to minimise waiting time. The meal was sumptuous while ghobi/paneer 65 were not upto the mark. The meal is unlimited & you can keep topping up items with only restriction on papad which is served only once.

It can get hot inside as there is no ac/cooler. Hygiene is maintained well, the table is wiped/ cleaned with a solution after every turn. The manager was facing difficulty while talking in hindi/English, communication can get difficult.
