HOTEL ROYAL SAND — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Royal Sand is better suited for student groups or travel packages than for families. We had booked 25 rooms for our group, and the accommodation was manageable for large pax. A firecamp area is available, which adds a nice touch for group activities. However, the property gets very noisy at night due to college groups having fun. This may not suit families or guests looking for a calm, peaceful environment. Parking is also a problem, as the place is usually packed with buses and heavy vehicles. The rooms are okay—basic and functional—but don’t expect luxury. Drinking water was not provided, which was disappointing for a group of our size. Hot water was available in some rooms, while others had time restrictions. The food was average, not very memorable but manageable for short stays. Dining arrangements can feel cramped during peak hours. There’s a lack of proper coordination when the place is fully booked. Staff were friendly and did their best, but the crowd made it tough to manage. The location is decent for a quick night halt if you’re part of a tour package. Ideal for youth groups, but not recommended...

The worst hotel stay ever in my life.. we came along with our parents nd other family members.. washroom dust bins were not cleared. Bear bottles and so many things which i don’t feel good to share here were there in it.. nd in our parents rooms so many combed hair were kept.. yuck yuck. It’s their duty to clean up the whole room and washrooms properly when they handover to new guests .. but they utterly failed to do that.. even the blankets were so dirty. Sharing the photos how the outside view looks when i open the door. Zero cleanliness..Really disappointed.. pls don’t choose this ever.. Ur holiday mood will get...

The hotel is really scruffy and not in a good location, just off the main road. Our toilet did not flush. They came and did something to it, but it was slow to fill the cistern, and we had to use a bucket. There was just enough hot water for one shower. No top sheet but they did provide a second blanket when asked. The breakfast was poor, we could not really tell if it was tea or coffee we were drinking although the omlette was okay.
