I had a bad experience at this restaurant. This is my honest review please read it carefully. They are only care about their business not care about customers. I tried their both restaurants which was only for veg customers and other only for non-veg customers. First of all the non-veg restaurant: It’s very difficult to find a place because it’s too crowded. They will arrange a seat with some other customers in table. They will behave with you like you have only some minutes to finish your food and just go as they have other customers waiting outside. They will take your order immediately and give you quickly, as it’s crowded they will not even serve you. They will just give you your food and go away. Within few mins they will come to you and ask to you like anything you want ? And they will ask you if they can give you the bill. Which indicates that you don’t have to seat and enjoy your meal slowly. You just finish your food like a robot and go. They will give that seat to other customers. I ordered Chicken biriyani, which was worst than I have ever eat. Price is very high and as compared to their price, food quantity and quality is less. Ordered chicken lollipops and it’s also very bad. You can’t believe we just throw it after eating 1-2 pieces because inside that chicken we saw bloods so it’s indicate that they even don’t wash it before cook. 2nd day I tried with their veg restaurant and again had a bad experience. Price is like they are serving in a 5 star hotel but quality and atmosphere is like 2 star hotel or a normal street restaurant. We ordered steam rice, 2 dal, 2 Rooti, mashroom masala and the bill was rupees 1400+. The taste is not worth if it is even 140 rupees. They are just business minded as they know we are not their regular customers in Ooty, as maximum customers are outsiders they will not Ooty daily or plan ooty trip daily so just fool them and take lot of money from them without serving good quality food. At least if you are taking such a good high amount then at least serve it in plate instead of just keep in table and go to other customers. Very very disappointed and I will not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant even if your driver recommend you. As you are new in Ooty you don’t know about restaurants so they have sone tie up may be with drivers and drivers will only suggest you to go here and have food. Trust me you can save your money by having good food somewhere else instead of wasting your money on them. I am always posting such honest reviews by taking time because I know people will check reviews before going and it can help people to find a good place. Much more to say but I guess it is enough for people to know the truth about this restaurant. Thanks

We were looking for a good vegetarian restaurant in Ooty when this was suggested by our driver. The hotel looks good from the outside and is equally well furnished from the inside. Coming to the order we had ordered a Veg. Manchow Soup, Veg. Kadai, Masala Papad, Wheat Roti and Butter Naan. Coming to the soup it tasted good. The typical spicy taste of manchow soup and they gave us extra fried noodles upon asking which was a good thing. Just the soup could have been made slightly thicker. But the taste was good. Coming to the main course, the quantity of veg. kadai was good. It was made properly and contained plenty of vegetables such as beans, carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, etc. The red gravy also tasted nice and they made sure not to add capsicum as we had stated. Overall the taste was very good. Coming to the Masala Papad, it was a typical south Indian papad topped with masala and onions, tomatoes, etc. Although the toppings were very less and hence the papad was not as tasty as it should be. The roti and the Naan were superb. Soft and fresh the Naan was literally dripping with butter which enhanced the taste. Thus, all in all, the food was very good and we would definitely recommend going here for a vegetarian dining experience.

Date of Visit: 11 July 2025 I visited this vegetarian restaurant with my family of 7 during our Ooty trip today and had a mixed experience. Here's a breakdown: Food: Masala Dosa (₹140): Tasty and well-made. Paneer Butter Masala (₹280): Rich and creamy, with tender paneer. Mixed Manjurian (₹450): A flavorful and satisfying dish. Tea (₹35): A perfect accompaniment to the meal. Rotti: Fresh and delicious. Ambience: The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, with a clean and welcoming decor. Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met. Value for Money: This is where the restaurant falls short. The prices are extremely high, making it difficult to justify the cost. Our total bill for 7 people was a staggering ₹2400+, which works out to over ₹400+ per person! Overall, while the food was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant, the exorbitant prices left a sour taste. If they revisit their pricing strategy, I'd be happy to return. Recommendation: Review pricing to make it more competitive and value-for-money. Will I return? Maybe, if prices are revised.

We dined in Paradise vegetarian restaurant recently on reference from our local contact as the best vegetarian restaurant in Ooty & the recommendations from the hotel staff where we stayed during our recent trip to ooty. To our utter dismay , towards the end of our dinner we noticed a dead cockroach in the veg biriyani bowl & felt disgusted & cheated as the food cost was quite high for the service & the ambience offered by the restaurant . We had ordered chilli baby corn , tawa rotis, Paradise spl kofta curry & veg biriyani . It took a while for the order to be taken & table set up . Though the food looked very appealing when it arrived after 20 mins , except for the half baked tawa rotis , little did we anticipate a dead cockroach to be present in the vegetarian biriyani . When we reported this to the steward he was so casual & unapologetic about the whole episode as it was a busy weekend evening , they just took the left over biriyani & came back With an offer to waive the amount for the biriyani or replace with a fresh bowl. As we were feeling very upset with such careless attitude of the service staff , we paid the bill for the rest of the items ordered which took a while as they didn’t accept the card which we had & had to offer another card. All the service staff just gathered & watched without feeling sorry for the poor quality contaminated. food served & not extending any word of apology or resentment . Very poor customer service & shoddy maintenance of the tables, tablecloths are not changed after a guest leaves , no table mats or paper sheets too., forcing us to sit & eat on dirty soiled tablecloth for the bomb they charge , so called fine dining restaurant. Request the management to look into this &take remedial actions to improve the hygiene of the tables quality of food served & food safety to make the dining experience a pleasurable one . Would never recommend this restaurant to any one who would need pure vegetarian...

Giving it 1 star because 0 is not an option! Please consider reading this Review completely if you don't want to harm your Health on your very Important trip to Ooty. Note that we are Maharashtrians and keep in mind the North Indian/Punjabi taste of the Food. FOOD TASTE : We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Bhendi Masala and very basic soups i.e. Manchow and Sweet Corn. We recieved Paneer was so Sour that it appeared to be Stale, even the gravy tasted really Bad. Bhendi Masala was below Average, and THE SOUPS : SWEET CORN - only had Corn Starch and Water with few pieces of Corn. MANCHOW : By far the easiest soup to prepare still tasted very different and bad from the Traditional Manchow Soup we have.

RESTAURANT ETHICS : The Waiter was forcing us to have "SPECIAL DUM BIRYANI". Our Driver told us that the Hotel is very Problematic as they repeat their foods over Days and Days till it gets finished.

AFTER-EFFECTS OF HAVING THIS FOOD : The first night itself we started witnessing it's side-effects as my Mom and my Sister had severe Stomach Pain and continuous Vomiting. My mother literally had to rest for 2 days out of our 7 days trip. Next day, I started witnessing some Stomach Pain and Acidity too.

See, you have limited days for the Trip and it is extremely important to stay Healthy throughout the Trip! So my honest suggestion is to not visit this Hotel in any Circumstances. There are other options like JJ Hotel that serve homely and descent hygienic Food. P.S : Paradise is extremely overpriced as well. We paid around 3000 and got this in exchange.

Shame on...
