Hotel Sri Saravanabhavan — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Good hotel to try near palani bus stand. Taste was delicious. Morning there was a man in billing counter who accepts PhonePe by providing scanner. It was convenient for the city people like us. But in the afternoon lunch 12:30 pm and evening around 4:30 pm there was a lady who doesn’t accept PhonePe saying network issue. We mentioned in the morning it worked but now why it didn’t ? She again told she won’t accept PhonePe. We told we don’t have cash n we will withdraw and come, then she suddenly took out the scanner and showed to us to pay. Then we got to know she was lying about network issue. Have reduced one star for that bill counter lady staff behaviour. Why was she insisting cash than digital payment even though it was working? I got the feeling like good for GUT. Budget friendly Vegetarian meals. A clean plate says a lot. We finished everything without a trace. Some from Pattaiah Naidu Palace suggested us this place. We had to walk more than a Kilometer too and fro. But the walk was worthy. Do try this place, if you are looking for a no mess to stomach type of a meal. Rooms were decent, but the person who took the booking asked for deposit amount (more than 30% of total booking value) which he mentioned that it will be returned when the keys are returned. But when the keys were returned, he mentioned a huge amount for cleaning and asked for more money. However, he did say that no other charges than booking amount when the booking was made.
