Hotel Welcome Srinivasa — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It’s been moreover 25years this hotel had been opened . I have been going to this restaurant from my childhood and I would like review it because the overall food taste and the servers response here . My favourite Idly is so special in this restaurant which is moreover good even than the A2B or Sangeetha . Not sure why this hotel hasn’t been modified or developed to super restaurants compared to other hotels now days like A2B or Sangeetha . Parking is quite constrains here.

Especially you should try the meals out here and you will feel good on their taste that compared to other restaurants. But still this restaurant is so underrated due to it’s not developed to it’s hifi even A/C

One disappointing here is we need to wait in the rush for collecting our food orders .

Although I’m loving this hotel since from my childhood till now .

Would have been perfect if its been modified to super classy restaurants like now a days !! But the tastes shouldn’t...

Velachery surroundings you can find many vegetation hotels so whats next, we have to choose them as who is giving same good taste with some reasonable price. I wont say welcome srinivasa giving cheap price but my point is in the name manyof pure veg hotels and quoting 80 rs 100 rs for pongal something. Here somewhat ok price but taste surely with high range Whats my pick from here is with price

Pongal - 60 rs Chapathi - 50 rs Veg fried rice - 120 ( even non veg guys will like this) Sambar rice - 50 rs Rava kitchadi -50 rs ( mostly it wont available but if it is there really loved one witu the smell of ghee)

Some items looks bit high for its price but taste wise worth to go and one main suggestion is dont try to buy parcel surely they will delay all the time

One of the oldest and typical south Indian food and tiffin items in Dandeeswaram, Velachery. Mornings Pongal is very good. Good Vadakari is available. Tasty foods are good on tummy and wallet.

Today to my horror; I found the usually good quality vadacurry was adulterd with water. Maybe because it was a takeaway and the time was 09:30hrs. Tiffen closing time. Just now, I called the hotel to inform about the adulration. Some one by the name of Mahendran answered my call and offered to pay me back the money. Review from a novice reviewer, Charu Latha (below)was true and correct. 14/09/2020. Today morning, also noticed vadacurry was adultered with water. Becoming worse.....
