Great experience on meals, definitely a heritage place. Had home cooked meals. Suggest to go for meals and curd vada. Quantities are very good on par with quality. Staff service was on par with star hotel levels. Unexpected for a quaint looking establishment.

Food was prepared in limited quantities such as rice, etc and was replenished freshly based inflow of customers which led to consumption of fresh food.

I would say this eatery despite its name and fame is just bit above average. Sambhar is v bland. Chutney is good Idly wade dosae are okayish, nothing special Coffee is avg, tea was good Service is very very very slow. There Walters just ignore you Prices are correctly placed.
