This home food is next to Shri Aadhi Kamatchi temple. Food is homely simple and less pungy it's a Thali costing Rs 100/ Plate but there is only one person he is the cashir Token giver steward with one aged lady serving and one north Indian boy for cleaning slippers to be removed outside before entering the home. If you ha e time you enter this place as food the Rice is prepared as limited I.e not to be wasted purpose but at a time priced cooked is for around 10 to 12 customers and another set will be ready. Read moreI feel I was fortunate to discover a place like Vijayalakshmi Bhavan at Kancheepuram. I had come here for a 3 day long stay for visiting the several celebrated temples in this town. I am careful where I eat and what I eat for both aesthetic and health reasons. Vijayalakshmi Bhavan is like Godsend if you want to eat food that is both tasty and healthy. To top it all, it is also a very affordable place. No praise is too high for Sri Hariharan and his team of very caring and attentive men and women. Chapatii was worst, big uncooked, and kurma was thick water..... and here also if you ask extra...hmmm better avaoid chapathi and parotta... because these two needs good amount of side dish and both needs to be cooked very well and curry needs to be served heartful.......
