I think it was coffee house. When I read their board, it is noticed that it is pure vegetarian hotel.

I entered to take meals. They have no meals and only Tomato rice, curd rice.... So I ordered Sambar satham (rice). In this they kept fried chilli (more milagai) and Pickle (normally given for curd rice) instead Papad or fried vadam.

I returned the fried chilli asked about this. They told it is their custom.

Ancient hotel very old its maintained by pondicherry cooperative, its not only for coffee you will get tiffan varieties in morning and evening, for lunch varieties rice, chappathi and some Quick snacks are available. You won't get meals here which not available. Hotel won't look morden even not good interiors, rest rooms are also not up to the level and no parking space for cars here. We had onion dosa, cutlet, curd vada, onion rava dosa, idiyaappam with kurma. When we were there, they didn’t have chutney so they only gave us white chutney and not kara chutney.
