Krishna Bhavan — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Despite several good choices, stepped in for Lunch with 6 members. They couldn’t rearrange tables, so we sat in 2 different tables (3 + 3) in the place of Table of 4. We chose since it was closer to Periya Kovil, PLEASE DON’T CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Staff were impolite, rude for below reasons: They gave a Kulfi that was very hard (Frozen) which took longer time to melt. A senior citizen was having this item.

Payment done. Tipping was done, I’ve never seen tipping envelope taken away prior to eating. This was first time.

He orders cleaning lady to clear both tables while he’s still not done. Our family understood and folks from 1st table had left. Cleaning lady brings those plates with debris and hits on my arm as a sign to clear our spots.

Supervisors apologized after I raised voice. However, staff were continuing to be rude mentioning guests were waiting, so they did this. No apology to a senior citizen.

I expect a feedback from their management. If not I’m going to reach out to one of our Food critics friend and a lawyer on their unacceptable actions.

I had a very terrible experience in this Sri Krishna Bhavan restaurant which is on the way to Thanjai Kovil. I have shared the bill here in this review. Believe me for those very few items I had to run around like a beggar for 30 mins. They had table service as well which we didn't know. The cashier said only self service. I got the vadai on time. If I go to the coffee counter, he said I need the bill so get the kara paniyaram first and come back here. When I went to get paniyaram, that lady (she is not worthy to work there if she doesn't have 1% of basic manners of how to talk to a human being) using such rude words as if I am getting food for free. Such a pathetic lady I have never seen working in any restaurant. Still I kept my calm and just told my situation to another person who works there. Then she was complaining that I was shouting and making a scene there. Oh God, I will never enter that restaurant in my life. Very worst service.. i ordered South Indian special meals on swiggy. It got delivered and the first thing was banana leaf is missing. Then opened the parcel and opened the sambar pouch it looked exactly like rasam. And they gave two raita pouches instead of one veg biryani and one raita. Edit1: I have had a very poor experience with this time. From the start leaf is missing. I reported and closed the disclosure. Then opening further i found sambar, vathakulambu and rasam looked similar(diluted). Side dishes are not adequate they had just filled tiny on spoon that's it. I haven't got veg biryani instead i got two raita. No chapati was there as it was special South indian meals. Veg kurma is also diluted it did not have any vegetable at all.
