This outlet is located on the 100ft road in a ekkatuthangal next to Kasi theatre...The Whole of the ground floor of the complex is used for parking which accommodates only bikes and for cars they do have valet parking so as far as this factor is concerned its all sorted out.. The Ground floor also houses the takeaway and Bbq counter...
The restaurant is ground+3 floors in total.. The banquet hall takes up the top floor with the second being the buffet place and the first floor the normal A-la Carte dining area..
The Servers were on their feet but a full house did affect the service a bit...but it wasn't anything alarming.. Apart form a couple of restless customers i did not see anyone complaining about the same..
Welcome Drink : Nannari Sharbath and Arabian Grape Drink were served...While nannari sharbath was pretty basic the thick grape juice with lots of peeled grapes was too good..
Soup : Chicken Soup was a basic rasam soup with excess of pepper and bits of meat which was too good for the rainy climate that day and also for my sore throat...
Starters : A small pot sized tandoor was placed on the table that had starters like Banjaran Murg Tikka, Kalonge Murg tikka And Spicy Chicken Tikka...All these 3 were too good with distinct flavors.. The Spicy chicken Tikka was true to its name and was spicy while the other two were mildly spiced but were rich in flavors with one being rich in cumin seeds and the other was saffron infused.. The other Chicken starter that also made it to the plate was the pepper bbq which was pretty average one but with perfect marinate and cooking.. The chicken is all the above items was juicy and tender...
The Other Non-veg Starters were the Tawa fish which had a soft meat that was well seasoned and cooked perfectly.. And the Butter Fried prawn with a slightly bland flavors with a generous amount of butter.. The Prawn was so fresh and soft..
The Veg Starters included the Crispy Fried Vegetables which was not that crispy but good in taste.. Thai Chili Potato with crispy potatoes slightly towards the sweets side and Gobi Manchurian Dry which was pretty average one...Definitely the Non-Veg starters won over the Veg ones..
Main Course : I started off with the veg side which had the Thai Spicy veg Noodles along with chili baby corn gravy...both the dishes complemented each other perfectly...The Veg Biryani was pretty average stuff..
The Had Butter naan and Tandoori Roti along with a host of gravies.. Both the bread items were good with butter naan overloaded with butter and also were hot and fresh...The Malabar Fish gravy with some soft meat and awesome gravy was the pick of the meal followed by mutton chettinad which was spicy along with some good soft and succulent mutton pieces...The other gravies like Paneer Butter Masala and Dal fry were quite decent...
Finished off with the Chicken Biryani which was one good Dum Biryani with a smoky aroma and was loaded with flavors...the Chicken was perfectly cooked too and had all the flavors intact too..
Desserts : The Variety here was the usual stuff along with a mini Falooda and Elaneer Payasam and these two definitely were the pick of the lot...The Elanner payasam with bits and pieces of coconut flesh in the perfectly thick coconut milk was too good...The Falooda was overloaded with 2 scoops of ice cream along with flavored flakes dryfruits and jelly...Perfect.. Other items like parstries, gulab jamun and bread halwa were average stuff.. The Fried Bananas were decent but could have been a lot better had they been a bit more crispier...
The Buffet at Palmshore isin't anything out of the ordinary..it has the usual items only but where they stand apart is the taste and quality of the food they serve...The chicken starters are the pick of the meal but the other non veg starters don't fall behind.. The Main course is good in variety and taste of items is great.. The Desserts are good and give a perfect finish to the meal.. The Jam Packed Dining area too speaks volumes in itself.. Definitely one of the must try places for a...
Read moreGood and bad definitely So good first the food has quality ingredients definitely can feel it And it won't spoiled your tummy Spice levels were subtle even a baby can have it Second was separate play area for kids and little stress free since he has a area to leave for his exploration That's where the good ends Bad part I ordered two iftaar boxes and baklava told them to get it at magrib time and the waiters shook his head , went away and when the iftaar time comes nothing is there on my table ok let's think he forgot many were there no only three families were here and lots of waiters .ok I stayed optimistic asked for iftaar boxes and he points out someone that guy goes and never returns then I have to show faces for him to get the food what's going on here then baklava takes like 15mins to arrive the waiters have zero coordination and commitment to work the food was bland samosa was kept on juice sogging up all the condensation ok then taste very cabbage centric no meat then ,idiyappam biryani was not good that's subjective very coconut dominant, roll again where's the meat ?? The roll was rolled inside very heavily leaving no space for meat .then comes the the chicken fry that was good .next biryani it was pretty average it was like amateur cook made that biryani for the first time .haleem was spineless, flavourless.fruit juice I would like to appreciate no sugar added I like that despite of slight sour taste. Gulab Jamuna average, fruits and dates were top notch .
So moral of the lesson is never fall for the hype of influencer they are being treated totally different because of one extra device that's camera . I hope the owner sees this and takes actions...
Read moreI wanted to share some concerns about our recent experience in Palmshore, Ashok Nagar. We were there to celebrate my son's birthday, but unfortunately, we had a negative experience.
The food quality at the hotel was not up to par. The mushroom curry was rotten and the dough used for roti was sour. Non-Veg items were okish. Non-Veg items were just okish. We had to leave halfway through our meal because of this.To make matters worse, after a day or two, many of us fell sick with tiredness, vomiting sensation, and fever. Although most of us recovered after a week, my son has been experiencing stomach pain since the incident.
We have been to several doctors and undergone numerous tests, including blood tests and stool tests. After a month of uncertainty, we were finally referred to a pediatric gastroenterologist for further evaluation.
There it was confirmed that he had contracted amoebiasis. Such a pathetic service and unhygienic way of preparation. It was never expected from a branded hotel. Please improve your service. Otherwise many kids may face the same issues.
I just wanted to share this with you all so that we can be more careful when choosing where to eat. It's important to always make sure the food we eat is...
