New PRAKASH Bhavan — Restaurant in Zone 5 Royapuram

I stay about 10km away from New prakash bhavan (NPB) . I usually order breakfast from Sri krishna prasad (KP) which is about 500 meters away from NPB. Few of my friends recommended NPB, so this time I decided to try it instead of KP.

I was surprised to see NPB was not on any of the apps like Swiggy, Zomato Or Dunzo. So I called the restaurant directly and he suggested to use Dunzo where you can place order for a unlisted restaurant and it worked just fine.

We ordered idlies, pongal and dosa. All of my family members were comparing the food with KP. We found the sambar to be a bit sweet compared to KP, but we all seemed to like it. However, we all felt the chutney from KP was better. The idlies were more or less the same. We were disappointed with the pongal.

Conclusion - if I want to order just pongal and idlies, I'll go back to KP. If we want to order anything else, then we may...

A good hotel with lot of varieties of dishes, sweets and ice creams. It's on the peak crowdy area at parrys so always rush in place. It has two floors where ground floor is normal and first floor is fully AC. There are so many people working here and the service is at the best. There is no wait time for order but there is waiting for the dish to be served due to high volumes of order. A busiest hotel in this area. You can always see the hotel full of customers. Very poor parking facility, one must come by walk and enter the hotel, since the road is already has enough vehicle's parked. The rate also bit expensive when compared to other surroundings but worthy.

Poor Service: The servers were unresponsive and inattentive. Despite waiting for a long time, no one came to our table to take orders until we explicitly called for them. Food Quality: The food tasted below average, which was extremely disappointing given the high prices on the menu. Long Wait Times: We experienced unreasonably long wait times both for our orders to be taken and for the food to be served. Tip Demands: At the end of our meal, the server blatantly asked for tips, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional given the subpar service we received.
