We called Mylapore and were directed to OMR as they were doing renovations. The restaurant in OMR was also not open and we were served in the bar. We were a family of five.
A disastrous family dinner. The person who to our order (Pranoy) has no clue of the items on the menu and he was honest enough to admit it
Our drinks were mixed up and the excuse I get is that housekeeper is being trained in the bar!
Nachos is nothing but a pack of doritos. Was served with cream cheese with a "Fly". When complained prannoy seems to think flies are normal but I firmly told him not in my food!
The ministrone was good but served in a 150ml cup. Looks like they don't have soup bowls.
Szechuan momo was ok. Steamed momo did not taste fresh.
Caparese salad was a shame! You could call it tomato salad with bits of cheese! We politely returned it and educated Prannoy on what it really looks like from Google images. Poor guy has no clue of this menu at all. No training as well!
Quesdillas were pathetic! No fizz in the beer Bloody mary served in whiskey glass!
It's high time the owners woke up and set right things before they see huge red in their books!
At the end of the day, a very disappointing evening !
When I scroll back the reviews serm to be good. Looks like they have lost their sheen recently. Time for a...
Read moreMost of the recipe are Italian and with fusion with Indian taste. I checked in at 8.30 pm and found that it was empty. few people came after me though. menu has so many items starting from mojitos, ice tea, green tea, smoothies, pizza, salad, ice-cream, some Italian starter, some of them Mexican, and Chinese food, Thai, and some other. European dishes too. overall in terms of cost, dam costly each and every items. u can imagine a ice tea which start from 145 rs, garlic bread 2 piece cost me 300+ tax.i order the smallest pizza starting from 400. but I liked the theme and interior very much. lots of art and creative picture and message inside the the restaurant on the wall. ambiance is very good with light English music. taste is overall good for those items which I tired. in terms of my recommendation, I would not suggest this place to anyone just coz of the few reasons - 1. it's very costly each and every items. 2. you hardly find people in the restaurant Which demotivated me to eat alone in front of...
Read moreVegetarians Beware. This was one my favourite restaurant in Chennai until yday. I went with my family for dinner and we ordered the lemon and coriander soup. And I specifically said the waiter that all our orders are vegetarian. But to our total dismay, the soup was served with chicken and worse we tasted it too thinking it was tofu. When we asked the waiter, he coolly said a sorry and took it back to bring a fresh one. How can a simple sorry wud suffice for this unforgivable blunder? Serving non veg to a vegetarian, what were they thinking? The restaurant wasn't even crowded to blame it on a order mixup. We didn't want to make a scene since we had kids with us. But, we were so upset that we asked for our bill just after our first order. And to top it all, the restaurant had the audacity to bill us for the soup. The least u cud have done is to not bill it. Padreno......
