The station facilities has developed so much including lift service..but the toilet facilities are still not adequate, not included in each platform.. and the toilets availble are not clean and properly maintained.. The ticket counter is too crowded during peak time and it takes too much time to get ticket, there is less number of ticket counters compared to the number of passengers.. Most of the people are still not using UTS service by railways, most of them didnt know such a thing exist.. The information centre should include advertisement of UTS app, so the people will be aware of it, which will help to reduce the queue infront of the ticket counter.. The road infront of the railway station is too narrow, and is not adequate according to the traffic expected there.. and the bus stop for the railway station is far away, so the buses will just stop infront of the station, where passengers has to stand under the sun for long time.. Inorder to solve this bus waiting shed can be constructed infornt of the station.. The parking facilities at station is too small and most of the times it will be full.. If comparing the condition of the station before five years and now, a lot of development has done and which is appreciable.

Such a awesome place and infrastructure their maintaining there. The announcement of that railway station recordings is such awesome greeting one. arrival of the trains also better when comparing to other railway stations because it's 2 way up and down platform. Which way you want to go out it's based on your willing or your opinion. station size also better when comparing to other railway stations like Katpadi and jolarpettai. The people of Coimbatore also such a wonderful, because I have visited 1st time yesterday for my job purpose and I received greetings, respect and many things more then I expected in a positive way .For that I'm so happy to reviewing this Coimbatore railway station. I had chapathi there and 2 Vadas that also superb. And WiFi facilities in that station also great . I get more faster WiFi signal there. And I booked the unreserved ticket within a minute from using that WiFi there. I love to revisit that place one more time .I am waiting and exiting for visiting that place ......I love that place.....

Railway station is clean and neat. There is an elevator (lift) to platform some might need them atmost. Luggage storage places also available it's located on the subway before platform 1. Waiting hall with AC accomodation is also available. Booking counter is at the right side of the entrance, pre booking center is located on 1st floor. Query counter is located immediate left side of the entrance. ATM(Any time money) is just near the entrance. While waiting for a train you can have your food or fresh juice just opposite to the station . KR bakes and restaurant is the best out there for vegetarian and non vegetarian seperately . Badam milk in railway platforms is too good . Just opposite to station there are alot of rooms for stay you can find the best suit for yourself. If you need more help kindly reach back or replay. I visited a vegetarian restaurant near Coimbatore Junction on May 30, 2023, and was disappointed by the decline in quality and taste. The breakfast meal was below average and not worth the price. The cleanliness of the restroom has also deteriorated over the years. Nearby, there are smaller restaurants that serve tasty breakfast at lower prices. Fast forward to September 19, 2024, I returned for breakfast and ordered idli and tea. Unfortunately, the idli was half-cooked, and the tea was poorly made, priced at ₹33—I've had much better tea for just ₹12. Additionally, some staff were rude, and after I reported the issue to the manager, they took back the idli. I ended up leaving after just a sip of tea. I won’t be returning again.

It is a pleasant place, peaceful and serene both in nature and in terms of living pace. Cities like Bangalore and Chennai are in their own hurry. People here are more respectful and kind towards others compared to other cities like Bangalore, Chennai. The local autowallah loots you but you have alternatives in terms of jugnoo, Ola and Uber. The mechanical engineering Industry is very strong and in par with their textile counterparts. In a road you are bound to find atleast a workshop that does one of the mechanical operations either forging, casting or machining. Coimbatore also has one of the best educational institutions namely PSG group of Institutions, Government college of technology, Amrita University etc.

Coimbatore railway station is not as big as Chennai's central but not small also.it has features like Google's WiFi,escalator (but mostly don't work as far as I know),ac lounges,ext...but big down side is it doesn't have clean restroom.,the bathrooms are stingy and they are not free also.it contains to entrance front one and back one.they don't have interior maps so its always confusing how to reach back entrance and vise versa at the same time reaching platforms is easy since the sign boards are clear and they have like only 6 platforms.These place is mostly crowded but they don't provide enough sitting facilities in the hall way so most of the people sit in the floors ,just provide some more chairs please.
