After watching an intense movie, "Kill in Escape," I decided to dine at Sangam around midnight. The outdoor tea-serving area was fully crowded upon arrival. Upon entering, the lower dining area was uncomfortably hot despite the presence of fans, likely due to its proximity to the kitchen. Consequently, my friend and I opted to sit on the first floor where air conditioning was available.

While my friend chose not to order anything, I opted for butter naan and butter chicken. The butter naan was exceptionally soft and sprinkled with black seeds resembling omam. My only critique would be its price, as each piece was priced at Rs. 70, which seems slightly expensive.

Unfortunately, the butter chicken was one of the worst I've had in recent memory. The chicken pieces used were possibly from a tikka.. The gravy, although rich in butter, lacked any discernible taste or flavour, rendering it a disappointing dish overall.

Additionally, we tried the mutton haleem, priced at nearly Rs. 300 for 250 grams. It was a decent dish for a first experience, featuring tender mutton pieces served in a small bowl and garnished with dried onions and a slice of lemon. However, its taste resembled creamy mutton paste rather than the expected texture of haleem.

The restaurant primarily focuses on North Indian dishes, yet the quality of the butter chicken suggests that their chef may not be adept at preparing this particular dish. The overall dining experience was unsatisfactory, and I would advise against visiting this establishment. Interestingly, despite our meal disappointment, the tea served was exceptionally good, priced at Rs. 25 per cup.

In conclusion, while the tea may be worth trying, I can not recommend this restaurant for dining based on...

We went today for lunch the service provided was truly bad. The taste of individual items was too too bad. Chicken 65 was Best one Among the things provided. Naattu kholi provided was completely filled with Bone. Asked them to refill and the Refilled item was also completely filled with Bone and other stuffs.

Mutton was provided was really horrible. It wasn't cooked properly, the piece was present earlier was some what ok and the refilled was not boiled. The soup which was provided wasn't hot enough. Asked them to provide us with more hot, he took and never been back. Wow the item kind of juice (grape juice) could not say it as a grape juice instead it was containing grape essence and water not chill enough and no sugar 🤐. Literally I would not go...

Tried nalli mutton biryani, poricha kozhi, mutton biryani and lemon juice. Nalli mutton biryani is the speciality of the house and it meets the expectations. The mutton pieces in mutton biryani tastes weird. Poricha kozhi mesmerizes your taste buds. It's well marinated and well fried. The crispiness and the dominant cumin flavor makes your mouth watery. Cost - 2 nalli mutton biryani + 1 mutton biryani + 1/2 plate poricha kozhi + 2 lemon juice = Rs. 1,313

The food was horrible. The grilled chicken had a strong smell of dry fish, which I think is due to the oil being reused multiple times. I’m not sure why this happens. They are charging a whopping ₹75 for a lemon soda, and the lemon tasted slightly sour. The glasses were unclean, and it seems they are not properly washing them. Every time I visit this restaurant, the same issues are present. You can see it clearly in the pictures.
