I had the most delightful experience at Hotel Sangam, located on Mount Road in Chennai. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that set the tone for a memorable stay.
For breakfast, I decided to try something different and went for the Egg Dosa and Chicken Curry combo. Let me tell you, I was blown away by the flavors! The Egg Dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, with the eggs cooked to perfection. But it was the Chicken Curry that truly stole the show. The flavors were unlike any other I've tasted - a unique blend of spices that danced on my palate, leaving me craving for more.
Though the price was a bit higher than what I'm used to paying for breakfast, I can confidently say that every bite was worth it. The quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the overall experience justified the cost. Sometimes, it's not just about the food; it's about the entire experience, and Hotel Sangam truly understands that.
The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure that I had everything I needed. The ambiance of the restaurant was soothing, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a peaceful setting. It's evident that the hotel takes pride in every aspect of their service, from the presentation of the dishes to the comfort of their guests.
If you're looking for a place to treat yourself to a memorable meal, Hotel Sangam on Mount Road is the place to go. Their Egg Dosa and Chicken Curry breakfast is a must-try, and I can assure you that your taste buds will thank you. While it might be a bit pricier, the experience and flavors you'll encounter are truly unparalleled. I can't wait to return and explore more of what this wonderful hotel...

The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the range of biryanis, each cooked to perfection with fragrant basmati rice, tender meat, and a blend of spices that are both rich and aromatic. The chicken biryani, in particular, stood out for its well-balanced flavors and succulent pieces of chicken.
The seafood options are also a must-try, with the fish curry and prawn masala being personal favorites. The fish was fresh, cooked just right, and the curry had a deep, flavorful gravy that paired wonderfully with the steamed rice. The mutton dishes are equally commendable, especially the mutton sukka, which was tender and bursting with spice.

Read moreHorrible experience! Ordered 2 Dosa (₹60 per piece) through Zomato. I received only dosa, without chutney sambar. I got confused and reviewed my order and nothing was mentioned like the side dish is not included. Then I contacted the hotel and asked about the same, they said, in this hotel dosa is simply a menu without any sides. I haven't seen anything like this before in any other hotels. Only for naan, kulcha and stuff like that they won't provide sides. Also in most menu it will be mentioned as "gravy not included". This hotel doesn't even have the courtesy to notify its customers, nor apologizing for the inconvenience caused. The person kept on saying they don't include any chutney/sambar along with the dosa and it is not their problem that the order is delivered without side dish. The only agony i have and the sole reason for writing this bad review is, I was in Omandurar Hospital and was ordering food (dinner) for my my parent. How on earth would anyone know that dosa comes without a chutney? I ordered and there was disappointment, and couldn't even place another order for a chutney/sambar at that time of night. The hotel should understand the pulse of the customers, or at least know to apologize for their mistake rather than arguing with the...
