An eatery were patronage is so high, one must go early to get a table and ensure all items in the menu are available. Unfortunately I went at 2.30 PM and had to request for a seat which was reluctantly offered.
Had to wait for the rice which was getting cooked. Finally when the meal was served with some items got over already, i found it as a truly homely food by its taste and due to the elderly women named Selviammal generously serving it encouraging everyone to eat well as a olden day mom.
Had to choose between nattu kozhi(organic chicken) or broiler chicken curry, i opted for nattu kozhi curry. This curry was prepared without coconut and less slices so it boosted a humble taste but was disappointed to find broiler chicken being mixed along with other organic chicken. The other things which were offered was the omelette and podi mass(sort of scrambled egg), this gave me the hope that i should plan to visit this place early next time to taste other delicacies in the menu, yes it...

Taste and quality of food: Excellent - A definite 5 stars for this. Ambience: Okayish. But it doesn't matter. Service: Great. Cost: Ultra cheap. It's just impossible to pay a bomb here because everything is damn cheap.
Went there with a friend this week for dinner. It's a small place, more like a mess, in case you didn't know it already.
We had 4 idlis, 1 dosai and 2 idiyappams each and shared 1 chicken curry, 1 duck masala and 1 mutton paya.
Duck tasted too good, paya was okayish and chicken was great too.
Service was exceptional. The chef lady and the 2 people who were there to serve made sure nobody waits for more than 3 minutes to have food. That too when there are 25 to 30 people at the place at the same time. Quite impressed with the way they manage their service there.
And the total bill was 300 bucks, which was a complete shocker.
100% I'll visit the...
Read moreAn amazing local eat place in serving traditional Tamil foods.
Location - located inside the busy streets of Ramapuram. On the way to mgr statue.
Ambience - very normal. Best suited for bachelors and guys. As most of the people stand outside and dine. But there is a small room for indoor dining too.
Food - amazed by the healthy and tasty menu items. The menu includes millet dosa, wheat dosa, herbal dosa, and nonveg items too. I went there for dinner. I tried Ragi dosai, kambu dosai and nethili fry. The nonveg portions are best suited for single person and the rates are reasonable too.
Yet to try their lunch menu
Pricing - very normal and best suited for bachelors around. And also for the Srm students nearby.
Rating - 4/5 for their amazing range of...
