Sharief Bhai - Mettupalayam — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Dear Shariff Bhai briyani mettupalayam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and food quality I experienced during my recent visit to your establishment on [18.02.2024 4.00pm].

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. Firstly, the service provided by the waiter was subpar. [Starter we ordered and waited more than 30 mins and after she told items not available]

Furthermore, the quality of the mutton briyani I ordered was extremely disappointing. Upon receiving my meal, I discovered hair in the dish, which is completely unacceptable. Herewith I enclosed a photo for your reference.

As a loyal customer, I had expected a higher standard of service and food quality from your esteemed establishment. I trust that you will take appropriate measures to address these issues and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide me with a prompt response regarding the actions taken to rectify the situation.

On our way back from Ooty today (24.10.23) we stopped at Sharief Bhai @ Mettupalayam. We sat there ( perhaps Table no 1 near the reception counter) for more than 25 minutes. Neither anyone gave us any Menu Card nor took our order although we could see the waiters moving about leisurely as there was not much of a crowd. Frustrated at such an unwelcome treatment we decided to leave and proceed to Coimbatore. Just then a waiter came rushing in. Initially we had the feeling he is rushing in to help us. Instead he opened the door to facilitate our exit. So much for their customer service. I would not recommend anybody (especially tourist en route) to drop in at this joint. Food may be good but their staffs including the manager are irresponsible souls and do not have the basic courtesy or knowledge of...

The biryani was awesome and flavorful, definitely the best biryani I had so far in Mettupalayam hotels, the quality and quantity both are good. The ambience is great, calm, serene. Chicken is tender and juicy, rightly cooked. Place is clean and neat Now the service is not up to the ambience of the hotel, they are not wearing skull caps, no gloves, handling food with bare hands. I could see the serving guy finger half dipped into the gravy bowl, holding the roti with hands.. I think this should be worked on. Must visit place in MTP for its awesome biryani.. Overall except for the way food is handled it's a great place to hangout and enjoy some mouth...
