not recommended for functions. We had arranged my brother's pre marriage get together function and booked breakfast for 240 peoples. We had told them to arrange the breakfast by 9 so that everyone can have their breakfast without issues. Our relatives have gathered at 9:15 only and then we asked the supervisor to supply the foods. There was one seat among 80 seats unfilled and the supervisor said there is a seat unfilled so let's wait for the person to come and then they can supply. I was on no clue why would they want 79 persons to wait for one unfilled seat. Later I realised they did not prepare the breakfast itself. How crappy. Then somehow they started supplying at 9:45(delaying 30mins) still the poori which was in the menu is not supplied for one entire row of 25 members. how crazy the guests all left without having poori. The guys working here will act nicely before booking (he promised us that the breakfast will be ready by 8:50 ten minutes before the scheduled time but these idiots have not prepared even after 45mins of the schedule).
We pay high but still take up the tension coz of this useless management.

Read moreI recently ordered meals from Annapoorna, and the experience was utterly disappointing. The food quality was nowhere close to what it used to be 10 years ago. There was absolutely no taste.. nothing that lived up to the legacy or brand name that Annapoorna once proudly carried.
It felt like the dishes were made just for the sake of completing a task, with zero care or effort. The spinach dish, in particular, was bitter and poorly cooked.
Despite charging a premium price, the quality is subpar and totally unacceptable. If you claim to be the “Pride of Coimbatore,” then you have a responsibility to maintain that standard — and sadly, you’re not even close.
The only thoughtful thing you’ve done is provide a QR code on the lunch pack for feedback. That’s one sensible step, but everything else was a letdown.
Unworthy of the reputation you once had. Very...
Read moreHotel Annapoorna is truly an iconic spot in Coimbatore, especially known for its authentic sambar and filter coffee, both of which have their own fan base among locals and visitors alike.
The taste is consistently excellent, and it never disappoints. Though the prices are slightly on the higher side and the portion sizes are moderate, the quality and flavor make up for it.
The hotel offers spacious seating arrangements, making it comfortable for both families and individuals to dine in peacefully, even during busy hours.
However, the main drawback is the lack of proper parking. There is no dedicated car parking, and even two wheelers must be parked on the roadside, which can be a hassle during peak hours.
If you're in Coimbatore, this place is a must visit for a classic South Indian breakfast or...
