Read moreAttentive service, close enough to railway station, has lift,.AC dining etc. however prices seemed slightly on higher side. We were suggested a meal called Divya bhojanam and while it was comprehensive with unlimited rice, it was clearly an "upsell", esp for a party that had two people over 70 and one 45 yr old. But if you're a younger person with a big appetite then you can enjoy this. It is somewhat pricey though so check price before. Think it cost us 350/person in March 2024.
Divya bhojan has a starter juice, an elanir halva and a pepper soup all served right at the start. Then the elaborate plate arrived and it is a leaf shaped plate with a cut banana leaf inside and about 12-15 cups are inside with many items like sambar, paruppu podi, ghee, milagu kuzhambu, two poriyas, koottu, fried sweet corn, mushroom curry, dal, naan piece, masala 'mor' (buttermilk), payasam, curd in a small cute earthen jug, veg biryani, and maybe 1-2 other items. Papad etc. i recommended getting a small side plate to keep the papad dry and crunchy during the meal. Ask for extra papad if you need later. Usually for 1 extra papad there should be no charge.
The food was tasty overall but we couldn't truly enjoy it and I Didn't try certain things fully. So just be aware of this if are offered the "Divya bhojan" meals options. The normal meals itself is quite good and sufficient. Attentive service so it is a nice place. While leaving we add a small tip to the bill and also a tiny cash tip (20rs) to the cleaning person who...

Food - It's pretty good, no doubt, however it wasn't something exquist as proclaimed on other comments.
Service - This was the worst service and experience! They are charging premium, and ofcourse put up a poster saying Airconditioned restaurant. But they kept the AC at 25C! Bloody hot, and only after seeing us and complaining they lowered the AC to 19C. They have a huge room with like 15 to 20 tables, but when a family of 6 sat down they brought 2 menu cards, where there was only a few people in the restaurant. Why are you stingy with the menu card? Really bad start!
BEWARE, The waiter quickly comes in to coherse you into getting soup as starter, don't get it, it's a waste and not worth it!
Atmosphere - This is the worst atmosphere I have ever had dinner at. As soon as you walk in you think, wow the restaurant is full, but then instantly they realized that there are 20 staff standing around! Look at the pic I shared! 😅 They are constantly staring at you eating, and this is so freaking uncomfortable! They are just standing around and ready to take your plate, the moment you out your phone spine down, like ffs, I am not done eating! They are eager to get your money ASAP, like why run a restaurant?
Certainly won't go here again, probably do take out from here, but not eat here in...
