Sri Angannan Biriyani Hotel — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I had ordered food from this place today. itz been a year since i have tried most of the biryanis in coimbatore. off all, this is the best biryani i have ever had taste wise. but the portion size is very very small. it was like quarter of the size of the same item ordered from other food places. I was very very disappointed with the portion size. for this portion size, the price was too high!! and the worst part is, there was almost no chicken (only two very very small pieces like the size of chicken 65) in the chicken biryani. usually, in other hotels there is a huge leg piece and breast piece included in the chicken biryani. I request the Angannan management to have some courtesy to take necessary steps to rectify this complaint and increase the portion size of the biryani and to include appropriate amount of chicken for the price. if these are not corrected, I am never buying from...

On 7 Th June 21, I ordered three mutton Biriyani one chicken wings and one and one chicken roast . Total cost was 1100 including packing charges Rs 30 in Pakku Matai packing. Inside that mattai packing another banana leaf packing. I do not understand why the packed one to be repacked with pakku mattai cover. May be for hot but while having in the table it’s just like an ordinary heat.( I ordered from Rathna residency inside, near railway station..)

In the name of Biriyani we all ate variety rice with mutton piece inside...No taste at all. For that they charged Rs 190 per plate.. Totally waste of my hard earned money.

Chicken roast along with masala ( may be common for all dishes) the chicken was no taste of any masala.

Chicken wings... Yes... Really worth...

Definitely I am not going to recommend to anyone in Coimbatore.. They are charging lavishly but the quality was F. A....

Worst experience!

I recently ordered in this hotel remembering my childhood experience in this hotel. When I was young, we used to have here. It was the best biriyani of Coimbatore. It was so popular. Then after few hours, the hotel seemed little disappeared. Recently, I can to know the re-establishment of this hotel and it was trending and talk of the city. Now when I ordered it was completely tasteless food there. I don't think the old chefs are there. The taste is totally different from before.

Long rice dominated by turmeric and garlic slices. Tasteless food and the cost is too high.

I say people don't come and fall here for the 100 years fame of the restaurant. Don't pay money to get disappointed and...
