Sri Uma Sankar Classic — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We stayed at Hotel Sriram which is a part of their hotel. We booked our rooms through Makemytrip. We had booked a room for 3 adults. They promised to give an additional mattress and other beddings. the additional beddings were very bad and they did not give a blanket. They said either they will give only a bedspread which needs to be used whichever way we want. That too, with lot of follow up after one hour of checking in, we got this additional mattress.

The rooms were looking clean but there was a stench in the bathroom. It seems that the drainage lines are not properly laid. Horrible stench.

The beds in the room were too supple and unfit for sleeping. The whole night we had difficulty in sleeping and got up in the morning with backaches because of poor quality of mattress.

Given an option, I will not stay here. I booked only because Janakiram and Baranis were sold out. The staff were also not very friendly and does not understand...

Yesterday morning I visited this hotel for breakfast around 7.30 am. I know them since they had a smal outlet near tiruneveli junction lane, where the food used to be much good.

Here, the kesari was too good (given us complimentary). The server brought my order of idli vadai. The idli was ice cold. I told him about the same. He was rude and said, ippo thaan pottathu... and arrogantly replied that i can write in the complaint book. I informed the manager at the counter. He definitely supported me and said, he should have changed the idli. When i asked for complaint book, he said, "athu enga kedakko theriyalai". You see how the customer sentiments are respected in the hotel ! The owner must be multi millionaire now and must be settled in US and these people do as they like. God save...

If you want have the good hygienic veg food the i suggest this restaurant. they have the wide varieties of vegetarian food and excellent coffee. the staffs here was so kind and too quick to serve our food. Even at late afternoon , they are kindly enough to serve the customer with smiling on face.

I kindly request you to go far dosa verieties , Aapam , Parotta and chilly parotta. And also they are serving good veg meal here.

They have sufficient parking facilities and in peak time it somewhat difficult like other restaurant.

Pros : Polite staff behavior clean premises Ambience affordable price Quality of food

Cons: Quantity is less.

Note : Better to Dine-in when compared...
