I have never seen such a poorly managed restaurant in my life. This place has plenty of empty tables, but still, they made me stand like a dog, with zero respect or basic courtesy. The staff were rude, completely unprofessional, and behaved as if they were doing me a favor just by letting me wait.
I expected decent service, but what I got was the worst treatment ever. No proper communication, no hospitality – just pure ignorance. If you care about dignity, respect, or a proper dining experience, stay away from this place. One of the most disrespectful and disappointing restaurants I’ve ever visited.
To the Restaurant Management – Please Read Carefully:
See guys, I’m paying for my food – I didn’t come here to eat for free. Treating your customers like they’re begging for food is unacceptable.
You had plenty of tables available, yet your staff made me stand like a dog, without even a basic gesture of respect. Is this how you treat your paying guests? The attitude of your team is disgraceful – no manners, no courtesy, and no sense of customer service.
Let me remind you: without customers, there’s no business. If this is how you run your place, you don’t deserve to be in the hospitality industry.
Shame on the way I was treated. Definitely the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.
We are the ones giving you business, so you should treat us with respect — not like dogs. Remember, we are paying customers, not beggars
If any higher officials see this, please inform your staff. Even the branch manager there behaves the same way. I'm not a hater of your restaurant — I have visited SS multiple times to dine in. But every time, the staff behaves the same way. This time, one of the staff make me very angry I know his name but I don't want to expose, it was extremely disappointing. I reached 100% of my anger level. That’s why I came here — so that you will understand how painful this...
Read moreOne of the worst service we've ever seen in an SS Hyderbad Biriyani so far,
We were returning from a very long ride very tired hoping to atleast have a good meal to make up our day because we love Biriyani that much, but...
At first the first floor staff probably the supervisor said us to go up and look for the seating, we too went there The staffs were very rude and they did not even allow us inside even though there was space and they said they have to clear to asked us to go down we went down like Messenger Pigeons again saying that then they said to go back up and check in sometime,
We went up again and when we even tried to communicate, the guy with specs literally started yelling at us and told us to go stand outside, this was super humiliating for us as he did this infront of the rest of the customers who were eating inside.
Finally when I managed to get this message to Manager, he made us to sit inside but only to make us notice that the atmosphere inside wasn't even calm, instead it sounded like you were sitting inside a Market, each shouting at each other talking loudly to them, I am saying about the staffs not the customers, this made my efforts which I made to get us inside feel already like a loss.
Furthermore, we've noticed that the Staffs inside weren't even cleaning and working fast as they were supposed to be in relevance the crowd they had outside, so we understood that the workers were not even effectively working / cleaning despite there were more than 4 with one supervisor in that one small floor.
We've already had a rough day and came to this place to eat some good Biriyani and finish the day nice, but the plan didn't go as we imagined, instead it went all upside down, because even the Biriyani quantity and quality both weren't like the authentic SS Hyderbad Biriyani's.
So I will never suggest anyone whom I love or...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at S.S. Hyderabadi Biryani, Saidapet branch. After a long, tiring day, I just wanted a decent meal. Initially, I thought I would adjust and not complain, but what happened next was completely unacceptable. Sorry for not taking any photos, as at first, I just wanted to let it go.
I ordered a half-grilled chicken, and not only was it not served properly, but it also had visible bloodstains in multiple pieces—a serious food safety concern. After eating one piece, I noticed something was off, but I still tried to adjust. However, when I moved on to the next piece, I saw it clearly had bloodstains, which was unacceptable.
When I raised the issue, I canceled my order, not wanting to take another risk. However, instead of handling it professionally, the staff wasted over 20 minutes debating over replacing just one piece, as if that would fix the issue. To make matters worse, they made me pay for the full order and replaced it with just that one piece—which was overcooked, extremely hard, and inedible. I should have at least been refunded for the portion I had not eaten, but they refused to do so.
Frustrated, I told them to keep the chicken for themselves, but since there was a crowd, I simply took the parcel and threw it away. The person cutting the chicken at the grill station was unprofessional and uncooperative, making excuses instead of addressing the problem.
I’m not sure if this is something that requires food safety authorities to step in, but I genuinely feel that proper quality checks should be in place to ensure such incidents don’t happen. Especially if you are dining with children, think twice before coming here. Also, don’t get carried away by their large biryani portions—quantity doesn’t matter if hygiene is compromised. Health always...
