Al Arabian Delights (Saidapet) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Al Arabian Delights has its humble beginings in pallavaram and after a wonderful run they now 5 outlets spread across chennai..So when i was passing Saidapet's Mosque Street i happen to notice this dine in outlet of their and went straight in to try out their food..Been a while since i had visited their pallavaram outlet and hence was looking forward to it..

A pretty small quick dine in outlet which can seat around 40 ppl in total and hence the dining can be a bit cramped..Its a Non A/C restaurant but one with good ventilation..The Service is basic but is quick and prompt..

Ordered the below varieties of shawarmas and given below is my take on them..

Chicken Shawarma Roll (rs80) : I Like the way how they are rooted to serve a good basic shawarma and not ruin it by adding unwanted spices and veggies..I consider this one of the best of the best in chennai..

Chicken Shawarma Spl Roll (rs100) : Truly a Spl Shawarma by all means.Its pure chicken slices with an yummy garlic mayo..Their Garlic Mayo is the reason for the good taste of the shawarmas..

Chicken Shawarma Spl Plate (rs150) : Same as above but in deconstructed form..Here the chicken scrapings is more in quantity and also one thing to note is that they do serve only one kuboos..It can be 2 IMO..

Good Taste is their USP and the food is as it needs to be and a No Nonsense thing..Pricing for the food is average and IMO is quite worth it...

One day I went and had Biriyani and Grill and it was good. And some other day I went with friends and had Grill and Shawarma and had a worst experience Grill was fine but Shawarma was not good even I smelled some rotten vegetables in it and I asked the person in cashier to just smell it and check and he says it is fine but all my friends can smell it is rotten and the cashier still continues that the Shawarma is almost got over and you are saying it now and so he continues like there is nothing problem in it. I paid what we ordered for but I am damn sure that those vegetables used in Shawarma is rotten that day and I am sure I won't be reaching to their restaurant...

Grill chicken was expired. They keep expired chicken in the grill machine - it affects health of the people.

This is not a proper way to run a hotel.

It should be sealed.

Don't spend - 80 rs. for sharwa here - it doesn't worth it. Order in OH MY SHAWARMA and taste once the real taste of SHAWARMA. If you still wanted to waste your money in this useless shop - instead by SHAWARMA in Saidapet market near bazzar road MedPlus - Briyani shop - buy 2 SHAWARMA get 1 free. (Total - Rs.100) taste is also good there.

This shop is a useless one - if you eat here - keep some 1000s to spend...
