I never ever expected this in Sukkubhai Biriyani at OMR. One of the worst service that i ever had. We ordered unlimited mutton biryani for 11 people. They served us after 45 minutes. 1st round two small pieces of mutton with low quantity rice which was not hot along with two pieces of chicken 65. Second round served with chicken biriyani rice (kuska) without chicken pieces.
Atleast they should have served raitha, brinjal and sweet. Each and every time you should ask to serve something.
Is this unlimited mutton biryani?
They have charged us 400 per person. If restaurant doesn't have biriyani just inform to customers. But, don't fool the customers.
There are lot of way to earn the money. But this is not correct way.
If you go to road side food seller, they will also never treat like Sukkubhai restaurant customers.
After reaching out to the manager, he simply said vehicle was break down and reduced 400 at overall cost.
Please please 🙏, don't treat like this other customers.
Requesting to Biriyani lovers, simply order Kadhar Bhai biriyani at tharamani or some other biriyani have it. Please don't go like this restaurant. We are paying money. We are...
Read moreA renowned restaurant around Chennai with limited branches has expanded its wings and has grown multi-fold into one of the best places to dine-in.
The ambience and service deserve credit since it was pretty good for any crowd turnout. First up was the Chicken Biryani Combo which had Biryani, Idiyappam, Barotta, Chicken 65, Chicken Chukka, Chicken soup and gravy.
The Biryani needs no introduction since they’ve served it on the same standard almost all the time; mild-spiced but great kick and meat level. Both the Barotta and string hoppers were fresh, and the mil-spiced gravy gave the necessary impetus for the meal to move higher. Chukka was better than the 65; was kicky while the soup was peppery.
Beef Biryani with Mutton fry – The most succulent, juicy and flavourful beef can only be found here; the jelly bone marrow with the tender meat just melts around; the mutton fry with the rice is a great combo, it was a spicy gravy, had bones yet was slurp-worthy.
Finally, price-wise they are still on their same old pricing and haven’t made ridiculous changes. The meal is worth every penny. This place has also got good parking space with a separate area...

What makes it a bit downer is plastic plates for every thing. Hot soup in plastic cup.
For biryani lovers like me, for biriyani alone this place is good. I would heartily recommend only for biryani.
Beef biryani is very good with enough quantity of meat. Brinjal curry is nice. Mutton biryani was excellent. You should try that too. While Chicken biryani has country chicken, the pieces are filled with bones.
What I don't like: Don't order combos. They are a waste They give quarter plate biryani and lots of unnecessary things
Chicken 65 and gravy were bordering not nice to okayish
Parotta and idiyappam were pretty ordinary.
Chicken soup was horrible. Look at the photo. It was settling down and water was clear. It didn't look like soup. It was as if someone poured water on chicken gravy and brought out as a soup.
They had softy ice creams downstairs. It was ok.
Would I recommend this place? Yes only for biryanis No for...
