Taar Kana Kebab & Tandoor — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Located in the road parallel to the bus stand... Right opposite to the back entrance of namma veedu vasantha bhavan in tambaram bus stand....

Zero parking near the restaurant... Possible for few 2 wheelers may be.... But there is a board for parking space availability in a hotel complex in the adjacent street....

3 divisions to seat around 50 people in total... No maintenance... Sticky tables... The main hall had a stinky smell... Adjacent ones were pretty ok... Air-con was average.... Restroom needs lot of maintenance.... nothing in the name of decor... Plain walls and ceiling.....

All servers were in the age group of 15-18... No more no less.. Need lot of experience... But are polite and courteous...

Ordered a plain biryani and boneless chicken 65...biryani was good... But nowhere near a dum biryani... Chicken 65 bone less was good and juicy... Few pieces were with bones... Which i complained about and were changed for boneless pieces..... No problems in food...

Its definitely high priced... Not a single factor justifies the price... Plain biryani was priced 120rs equal to restaurants like aasife and seashell... Though quantity was higher it was'nt so great in taste to spend that much and with below average service and ambiance..pricing seems so lame..... A reduction in prices or an improvement in ambiance would...

I reached the place around 8:30 pm and by that time fish and prawn dishes were over according to the waiter. No juice items were available, I don't know how as only 6 people were there in the restaurant including me. I ordered Tandoori Chicken, Dragon chicken, schezwan fried rice and chicken tikka masala. Tandoori chicken was actually chicken tikka and taste was average. Dragon chicken looked horrible and tasted horrible too. Schezwan chicken fried rice and chicken tikka masala were horrible too. Chicken tikka was not at all marinated and tasted like boiled chicken. I would rate this place 3/10 on taste. 6/10 on ambience . 5/10 on service. 2/10 on value for money. I received a bill of 710 for these 4 dishes and a water bottle. I told the waiter and the guy at reception that the food was horrible and they were not shocked . I love Kebabs and Tandooris those are my favorite this is one of my favorite dine in place... i love the spices they add very well blended and i feel the freshness of food over all it taste heavenly. though i stay far from Tambaram i come here to enjoy the taste......As we know its a very busy center crowded once u enter in within the space the atmosphere is very pleasant....through one of my friend i came to know this...
