THE RED BOX — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Ordered through swiggy for my mom. After 2 recent dine-in failures, this was worth it. She ordered chicken fried rice and schezwan chicken combo. What did she feel about it?

Chicken fried rice Well cooked rice tossed with juicy chicken pieces, shredded pieces of plain egg omelette, beans and carrot. The aroma was inviting. Carrot and beans were crunchy. Shreds of omelette tasted different and good. It doesn't have any spices in it or anything overwhelming. Mild and bland which mom told gave her a content feeling. Schezwan chicken Usually schezwan dishes are supposed to be spicy but mom told it was mild. Chicken was juicy soft mixed well with schezwan gravy. The gravy was sweet and sour mom told. Actually the combo serves for one person but the quantity(chicken fried rice) was enough to serve 2 person.

From her words I will suggest chicken fried rice for a sensitive gut person and if you can take mild spices occasionally and your gut won't react, go for schezwan chicken. One of the best Chinese place she ate she told. Try the dishes with your family...

Chinese food at its best!!! Whenever I feel like having Chinese this is my first choice. They have a vast menu which is more than sufficient to cater most of the taste buds and the best part is they have something called small box menu which I personally feel is enough for one person. I generally have noodles and fried rice, people who like mild sweetness can try dragon chicken. The cost of food is also reasonable, add some coupons to your order the deal becomes even more tempting.Reducing Two star because there is a major downside, it's only a take away and problem with take aways is food gets cold when it reaches you and Chinese food can only be enjoyed when piping hot, the next one please differentiate in packaging while serving veg and...

Worst experience. In google maps it's showing that they are open till 11pm, but when I went there around 8-8:20pm the receptionist told be they are closed for the night and can't take order. But I told them that in google it is written 11pm but they again told me the same thing. Later when I was outside and searching for other restaurants, I saw swiggy delivery guy taking parcels from the restaurant. Then I tried calling the number given in google but the message was showing that the number doesn't exist. One of my worst experiences ever.. My suggestion: don't come here...
