I recently ordered a cake from the Shenoy Nagar branch for my baby's first birthday celebration, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish.

Ordering Process: ⭐⭐ (2/5) The initial ordering process went relatively smoothly. However, it was downhill from there.

Delivery: ⭐ (1/5) The cake was delivered in a terrible condition. It was not just slightly damaged; it looked like it had been mishandled and squashed during transit. This was a cake meant for my baby's special day, and it was heartbreaking to see it in such a sorry state.

Customer Service: ⭐ (1/5) I immediately contacted the Shenoy Nagar branch to report the issue. Manager Ramya handled my complaint, or rather mishandled it. She was unhelpful, unapologetic, and offered no solutions. Even after providing evidence of the damaged cake, she refused to initiate a refund and provided a 20% coupon for my next purchase. This was not fair to get 20% offer for that because the broken cake was around 5k.

Lack of Accountability: ⭐ (1/5) What was even more frustrating was the lack of accountability from the manager and the staff. They seemed indifferent to the fact that they had ruined an important milestone celebration for my family.

Overall Experience: ⭐ (1/5) My overall experience with this cake store was extremely disappointing and disheartening. A baby's first birthday is a significant event, and the mishandling of the cake and the lack of concern from the manager marred what should have been a joyous occasion.

I would strongly advise against ordering from this Shenoy Nagar branch unless you want to risk a ruined celebration and unresponsive customer service. It's disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and care in a service-oriented business. My hope is that they improve their customer service and quality control to prevent others from experiencing similar disappointments in the future.

Be aware of these fraudulent guys. They won’t inform us regarding their policy before ordering when the cake...

I always order cake from The Brownie studio for every other occasion in the family, this year the delivery got delayed due to some miss communication from our side, though I showed some frustration towards. The Brownie studio team, the team handled the situation very well and delivered the cake.

This time the cake was like a bomb, I would say it was the best, I have tasted so many exclusive baking companies cake, usually after the first large piece of cake I used to stop eating due to over sweetness or soggy ness. This time the cake was so delicious and the entire cake got over just after cutting and was served only to 5 people. We couldn’t stop eating.

Guys, I strongly recommend The Brownie studio for every other occasion in your family and they are the best right now in Chennai. This review posted in 2024

I have been buying Cake for all the occasion from "The Brownie Studio", I have never given a review till now, today I just felt like giving a review because they deserve a great applause for the gesture they have done for my daughter's Birthday. Though their policy of paying full amount during the booking doesn't go well with my mindset. I said ok for it and placed the order. The cake was awesome and trust me the people who came for the birthday said ''just woow''. I ordered for a choco truffle with white chocolate outer layer.
