This is one of the oldest restaurants in Chidambaram running successfully for 3 Generations. The food they offer is very home-made like, fresh and so good.

We had Podi Uthappam Ghee Roast Podi Roast Onion Roast Badam Milk - Rs.45 Rose Milk - Rs.45

It was one of the most delicious food I have ever tasted in a restaurant so far. It was really really really good.

Podi Uthappam had a entire full layer of good amount of podi with good oil combo. It was the perfect food with perfect taste. The Orange chatni given was out of this world, very mouth watery, refreshing & FINGER-LICKING-GOOD.

Ghee Roast was a very special coz of the high quality made Ghee.The ghee was very homemade-like and it was so so good. Badam Milk and Rose Milk was also in-house and the padam milk is literally full of padam. Both had perfect flavors and blended so well.

Food- Taste wise good (Tamil Nadu style). Except watery and taste less Sambar other items are good taste. Sambar does not go well with this style of idly which tends to be bit pulpy and not like the other regular restaurants using rava in idly. Service- Even though have more staff and have friendly demeanor due to language gaps takes time to get requirements understood Hygiene- Needs lot of improvement. Even though informed the owner about staff carelessly mopping staircase which is right above the seating area and all the dirt falling on the seats he did not bother to even educate the staff to be careful. Attitude to Hygiene is not great

We ordered food from this Udupi Sri Krishna Vilas restaurant through the Zomato app, and it was a total nightmare.

The food was completely uncooked— not just undercooked, but raw. We couldn’t eat even a single item. It’s shocking that the restaurant would send out something so badly prepared. Totally unhygienic and unsafe to eat.

To make it worse, the packaging was very poor. The containers were leaking, everything was thrown together carelessly, and the whole order arrived in a mess.

This was a complete waste of money and time. Zomato really needs to review the quality of restaurants on their platform. We expected decent food, but got something that shouldn’t have left the kitchen at all.
