ZODIAC RECREATION CLUB — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Booked a room here via Oyo, which was a confirmed booking. I still called the manager to confirm that the booking is set and that i would check in by 5pm. The manager said to come and the room will be available. Went to the reception at about 5:30 pm and asked for the room, first i was told that the amount paid for the room was low and was then asked to wait for 10 minutes. Was eventually told that all rooms were full and they will try and request one of the guests to check out. I asked how long it would take, but was told they cannot provide a timeline, so am I expected to wait the whole night in reception? Called Oyo who were of no help whatsoever. Looks like the management is only concerned about money making and very easily back off from their commitments. When i have a confirmed booking, i expect to have the room ready, especially when i called and confirmed earlier that it would be. The manager was as professional as possible until this point when he started saying i have a confirmed booking with Oyo, but not with their hotel!!! So funny, Oyo will not let me book a room unless there is inventory available. The icing on the cake was i was finally told by Oyo i would be given a refund because they couldn't arrange alternate accomodation either, and immediately Oyo ads started popping up saying rooms are available to book in zodiac lounge. Which clearly shows inventory was available, but i was denied check in because in their eyes my tariff was too low. If that is the case, why even register with platforms like Oyo, which offer massive discounts...

They promised me if I get membership card from them they will offer 6 days free stay for me and after I paid I planned to stay there in Chennai for 2 days rest of the 4 days I had a plan to stay in kodaikanal but after completing one day they asked me to pay 1500 rupees to continue my next day (2nd) stay over there and I was wondering why they asking for money and before I paid their first promise was 6 days free stay and it's like putting worm in needle to catch a fish and I felt very very much disappointed of their lies they are really a big cheaters better don't go there for anymore please people's don't waste you hard earned money. I truely believed their words and I lost my 20k rupees to...

Don't get membership there they are cheating fellow s same membership they are selling for 10 k , 15 k and 25 k depends upon the customer and also they make lot of false promises like they offer room for 750 rs like that .....they get 1500 rs from you after that they won't respond for you ......100 percent cheaters .....I am going to book a complaint as about that club to police 👮 soon ....
