Punjabi Family Dhaba — Restaurant in Telangana

“CREEPY PLACE” I’m a frequent customer for this restaurant. However, I order via swiggy. Recently, as I was close to the location, I walked in and ordered the same item “Mixed Fried Rice”. At first the place looked creepy. But as I’m aware of its taste, I ignore the appearance. After coming home, I was totally disappointed by the quantity and quality of food they have given. It was not even half as much. Mixed fried rice generally contains Mutton, Chicken, Egg, Fish and Prawns. These crooks just served Mutton (very few) and nothing else. They charged for mixed fried rice only. Upon questioning via phone, they say the management has changed. We don’t know how it was before etc. Not a pleasant experience. If the order was through Swiggy, would have asked for a replacement or refund. Cheap acts ruin...

The food was good, but they didn't maintain proper hygiene. Food was served in disposable plates, oil marks were present on curry bowls, on top of that, we found a fly in our raita. When questioned them about these issues, the waiter replyed rudely. Earlier they used to maintain cleanliness, but now they blame the pandemic. We understand that the pandemic caused lot of issues, but still that shouldn't be the reason, minimum standards should be maintained and they charged 1035 rupees for 5 items. Chef has magic hands. Tried on swiggy and so impressed that i visited in person the second time for the take away. Not a good dine in place but ideal for take away. Hidden jem. Bigger restaurants nearby should order from here and compare what they are dishing out in the name of spicy. Th chef seems to use spices and not just kilos of chilly powder like the bigger restaurants around. Small place but superb food...
