Swiss Cafe opened it’s first franchise in the south and what better place to choose than the residential suburbs of Manikonda. The crowd from Lanco hills has a new food destination which is a cute little joint that serves fresh, tasty and affordable food. With amazing pocket friendly prices and delicious food, the place is making headwinds with the resident population in and around the area.

We were invited for a food blogger's session at the cafe and the experience is as below.

The signature ‘Swissarian Chicken Loaded Pizza’ had freshly baked pizza base, smeared with homemade pizza sauce, topped with chicken chunks and loaded with mozzarella cheese.The ‘Swiss Cafe Special Fries’ were extremely crunchy and flavourful, drizzled with liquid mozzarella cheese and mayo the dish is a hot seller. The ’Swiss Cafe Signature Burger’ had freshly hot buns with a homemade meaty juicy chicken patty and loaded with fresh veggies and homemade mayo. The ‘Chicken Grilled Sandwich’ reminds you of the streets of Mumbai, with a double decker layer of toasted sandwich breads loaded with chicken chunks and mint chutney ,grilled to perfection and drizzled generously with grated cheese.The cafe serves a wide array of refreshing thick shakes that are not only delectable but are presented to perfection in mason jars, my favourite being the mighty ‘Ferrero Nutella Thick Shake’. The ‘Swiss Cafe Special Maggi’ was loaded with cheese which makes it another noteworthy dish on the menu.The homemade freshly baked ‘Black and White Fantasy Waffle ’ had generous drizzle of rich chocolate sauce and smeared with premium white chocolate. The ‘Kesar Malai Ice-cream Rolls’ is a signature here and is a must order too.

5 stars for the place, their staff's courtesy, and the quick service. Which are the three main pillars that make a difference when you are eating solo and are looking for a break on a hot sunny Hyderabadi day. Their menu had the necessary variety and prices are pocket friendly (with the rising prices it must be a tough task for the ownership to keep the prices sane!..kudos). They have pizzas, burgers, fries, waffles,. shakes and a variety of snacks that leave enough tease for a customer to comeback for more! The place isnt very big but they have set an example of how one can still make the most out of what you have!

Behind the red brick finish counter, sits a cheery mam taking the orders and ready to describe an item and its portion sizes with all the patience and smile, regardless how silly the customer's queries get.

The orders are fulfilled quick and its kind of a self service. And even if the order takes some time, there are enough things written on the walls to keep you busy or you can try your hand at the guitar there.

The food, without doubt is good and all ingredients seem fresh too!

I recently visited this cafe and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town! From the moment you walk in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home.
