I am a jain and this elaborate review you are about to read, I hope you get some clarity and find it helpful.
FIRSTLY, I would like to consolidate all negative reviews so far.
Price: Reviews that are all talking about the prices, I somewhat agree with them. Prices can be better for sure. I don’t expect it to be “cheap”, just a little reasonable (10-20% lesser) Taste: This part I believe is subjective. People are going wrong with what to expect! It’s a vegan cafe, it’s not a dhaba where you get food that’s extensively based on flavour and full of spices. If you follow the theme and think about it, its not bad at all. Yes there is a scope of sizeable improvement! 3 Staff: From what I can read, I see that some people are not from catering and hospitality background but EVERYONE is humble and they do their job well. If they are asking for feedback multiple times, they are representing the restaurant and you should definitely help them understand how to improve. One needs to be more humane to understand this.
NOW, MY REVIEW based on 3 essential pillars of restaurant business Taste: I ordered Burritos, they were very very bland to my liking. Being a Mexican dish, it was not standing to its origin at all. I gave this feedback and asked if there was any chilli sauce and I was given hot sauce, with a good chunk of this sauce, the recipe felt complete. So I’d say, the filling needs to have decent amount of hot sauce AND also cheese or mayo (A burrito cannot be dry in mouth) The quality of ingredients are very good and hence I decided to take away one and this time I asked them for medium spices and the hot sauce. The take away tasted better but still a LITTLE lacking. (Forgot to click on in restaurant, so a picture of my take away burrito)
Price: Well well! In earlier point, I mentioned about the hot sauce and how prices can be a little reasonable. The hot sauce I was given was barely a spoonful (The spoon used for soups) and they charged me 30*2 for it. I don’t see how you charge additional Rs. 30 for ridiculous quantity of sauce which I had asked to COMPENSATE THE MISSING TASTE. Really not happy with it. Burrito costed 330 and if you can see, the quantity is sufficient. Pricing needs to be adjusted. Maybe 250-270 would be very appealing.
Ambience: Will keep it short. 10 on 10. All my appreciations is in the form photos I put.
Bonus point: Menu is limited and needs to be worked about. The concept of vegan is relatively new and there needs to be more descriptions of the dish, such as what is plant based meat?? Nobody could explain me this so I was not confident in ordering the dish…
CONCLUSION: Reduced a star for pricing and taste. All the negative reviews you read are not conclusive. I recommend you experience it first hand and decide.
I will visit again and hopefully have the opportunity to give this place a 5 star...

Weekend Cafe is located at Vikrampuri Colony, Secunderabad! The place gives you some extremely peaceful ambience! The staircase and the entrance is full of greens and i loved it! Best thing to raise oxytocin hormones in your body!😍 The indoor seating is quite impressive, every corner is beautiful on it’s own and i loved the ‘Monalisa’ painting on the wall!❤️ Overall, loved the entire setup and wouldn’t mind going there again and spend some time working on my laptop or meeting friends at this Vegan Cafe in Hyderabad.
Let’s hop onto the Food!! The menu is vast with lot’s of options to try on and to my surprise it was all made from Plant based Meat, Tofu, Cashews, Whole Wheat, Tempeh and Almond Milk! 🥑🧆🍫 For starters we had Poutine Fries, Peri Peri Wings, The Weekender Shawarma, butter garlic weekend toast! The one which have weekend in the name is having plant based meat! The taste is approximately the same but i guess the sauces which are used in them are little different which make the food a little bitter but mat be i was trying it for first time got me that taste!😊
For the main we had Japanese Curry Bowl , Tofu Tikka Pizza, both of them tasted yumm!!🌟
We also tried the Mocktails which i felt was little off😶
For Ending the session at the sweet note we had chocolate mousse and Creme Caramel! Pretty good flavors and balance of sweetness!✨ Overall the place is a happy place for vegans out...
