Nanking Chinese Restaurant Vikrampuri — Restaurant in Telangana

Well, i do not have an objection to give this company 4 stars. But I had a disappointing experience on a recent note. I am a big fan of Nanking's Ginger Chicken and so often take a parcel from this restaurant. But from the past three times, I am getting disappointed with the quantity these guys are offering.

Although, I am purchasing one large plate (Rs 370) of Ginger Chicken, the quantity they are mentioning is not reflecting in the parcel which I open it at home. They say we get 18-21 pieces of Ginger Chicken in one full plate.

But in practical I am only getting 12-13 pieces. The other fact is that this is not only my experience, but all my friends and relatives who take a parcel from Nanking CR -Vikrampuri are complaining the same.

And believe me, this is my 4th same experience in this year.

I don't have a valid proof to prove my point. But i think someone from the higher management level from Nanking should do a probe in this matter.

Note- I am not posting this review to tarnish the image of this restaurant. But would like to alert other customers and also the management on this issue.

Nanking has been around for a long long time in the twin cities and has captured the culinary scene for decades- but then the millenials arrived and nowadays only old school people like me go there. I am still a fan- try their fried pork with chillies for instance and you'll get the drift! My usuals here are:- Prawns in Garlic sauce- both sweet and hot garlic versions are good. Prawns fried noodles- this comes with a thick seafood noodle broth- must try! Mixed fried rice- another hardcore dish time tested. Fried pork with pickle sauce- crunchy chunks of pork served with pickle sauce similar to a kimchi. Mangolian pot pork- cubes of spiced pork slow cooked in a clay pot. Schezwan prawns- slightly...

One of the olderst chinese restaurant and we have been visiting this place since 20+years located in parklane, now they have a branch in karkhana also.

Our standard order menu is chicken corn soup, chicken drum sticks(very popular), ginger chicken wit bones(sometimes we order), chicken fried noodles ( for kids, they just love it), egg soft noodles, chilly chicken wet.

But over the years, the quality of the food has come down drastically.

The ambience, interiors also need upgradation as they are the same for so many years.
