I had bad experience with china bistro. First of all they said drink and all are unlimited sushi they only had two option veg and non veg one each. Cold drink they said unlimited too but the attender didn't even ask if we want or tell us it wasn't complimentary. The coke price is just ₹40 but we paid 200 for wach bottle. We weren't aware it wasn't complimentary. The food was average. Like it cost us 6k for 4 people and it wasn't it worth it. Idk what they add in their food, you eat little it fills you up. Like we have a capacity of eating 20 24 sushi, but when we ate like 7 8 sushi my stomach was very full, starter also they have only two option for non veg chicken and fish. Then main course they have one rice which was average, boodles was very bad, curry was sweet and the quality was bad like u will feel its not worth. The ambience was good we didn't try drink. But food was very very disappointing. Deserts felt foul. As if it was old. Ice-cream was like the softy we get in dmart. And it was melted state. Fruits were good coz they had 4 types but that too very small peice and they give u small spoon for everything so that u take less and if u want more u will have to keep scooping and after a point u will just take less and leave. The service guys dont come to you often and when u call then tehy take 5 mins to be back again but they said service charges is compulsory we have terms and conditions. But in India its optional, you pay servuce charge only if u like the service. They too 400rs as service charge for which we wait 5 mins for every service. How ridiculous is that??!!!Global fusion is far better than this. Online it saya 700 800 per person but it 1k plus gst in person and more than that on weekends. Global fusion has quality food variety and its 1149 on weekdays and under 1500 on weekends. Please dont waste your time and money here. With ky whole family experience m saying. We explore a lot of places and taste. I nust say this was bad. Also we ate lunch at 1:30 -2:30 and its 10:40 now i feel bloated and heavy, I didn't eat anything yet my stomach feels full, they add something to the food, not sure what. Anyways I will not visit again nor will i suggest anyone this. I was so exicted to go but turned out...
Read moreFOOD Pan fried chilli fish mesmerized my palate and tastebuds. It was slightly spicier than my taste but it was amazingly delicious. I had a running nose with the spices but I continued having the dish. It was delicious beyond words.
Fire roasted mandarin chicken was ok and has a combination of tastes I have tasted earlier. It was tasty but nothing unique as per my tastes.
Kim li prawns were a delight! Sophisticated yet powerful, strong in spices yet not hitting the palate too hard. It was superiorly elegantly tasteful.
Pan fried soya chilli noodles were just amazing. The subtle combination of soya chilli flavor with the chinese oil and spices just added magic to the overall awesomeness.
The Daarsan was thin and crispy yet sticky with the perfect amount of lightness and sweetness topped with black and white sesame seeds.
AMBIENCE The perfectly cosy yet sophisticated ambience you would want to walk into, to have authentic Chinese cuisine without the Indian touch. The decor is minimal but talks about the cuisine without being loud. This is good for fine dining.
CHEF AND STAFF Mriganka Mandal, the chef, is a slendid chef with unmatched culinary expertise..he was an extremely humble and nice person to speak to and the food was delectable.. Dilip hosted us personally as if we were his exclusive guests, and the overall warmth made our first experience very memorable. He suggested the apt items to order and we thank him for his honest suggestions. He even offered icecream because I had runny nose and teary eyes after having food. The personal touch makes so much...

I decided to welcome 2023 by treating my family for brunch at China Bistro Thane on the Sunday the 1st of Jan. It’s a decision I have been regretting over the past 5 days as I am battling pulsating stomach pain and discomfort thanks to the substandard quality food, they served us.
Apart from me, my 7-year-old kid was affected too. Thankfully, my wife remained unaffected as she had opted out of some of the questionable starters they had served. By evening time that day my kid and I were feeling nauseated and by late night I threw up everything I had that day. This was followed by fever and stomach ache, as a result I couldn’t sleep the entire night.
The following morning my kid vomited too as we were dropping him to school. Needless to say, we decided to skip school on Monday.
I narrated all of this to the restaurant manager over the phone who of course denied culpability. He gave me the usual rhetoric of maintaining the highest standard and saying that they never receive such complaints. Look through the negative reviews here and you will find people complaining about the food quality.
The manager was cheeky enough to invite me back in the restaurant. Thanks, but no thanks. At this point, every cell in my gut is repulsed by the idea of Chinese food!
I request those who have had the same experience as us to come forward. I am inclined to raise a compliant with the local authorities.
Learned a big lesson, I am never going to dine at such restaurants on the 1st of Jan, they will serve you left over food from New Year’s Eve without a...
