Shawarmaji — Restaurant in Thane

First of all, shawarmaji is located at a perfect location that is busy throughout the day. Vasant vihar college and the multiple number of coaching classes means that the inflow of students is a lot. And shawarma being one of the go to options now a days amongst street food lovers, this location itself adds great value to the entire process.

Icing on the cake for this outlet is that they serve some high quality shawarma's that are absolutely delicious and most importantly from the perspective of the target group in here, the filling is immense. The Quantity is something that no one will ever question or complaint about.

We had three different shawarma's, Chicken Fiery, Chicken Tikka & Chicken Peri peri. The fiery justifies its name and is on the spicier side as expected. It's too tasteful and amazing. Must try.

On the same lines is the Chicken Tikka with a lovely smoked flavour and immensely satiating and satisfying. Loved it. Peri peri was amazing too, just that all the Peri peri spice got accumulated towards the bottom and it tasted more creamy towards the top. But let's not be over critical about this, they are definitely doing a wonderful job & it seems as if it's here to remain for a long long time.

Craving for Shawarma struck hard and what better than Shawarma Ji which is a famous brand amongst the local foodies in Thane. They have 4 outlets in Thane itself and standards are maintained at all outlets throughout.

Their menu has shawarma in both veg and non veg section with option to choose from 6 inch to 8 inch sizes. I opted to try their Peri Peri and Firangi Chicken Shawarma.

Service is pretty quick at this particular outlet. There is no seating but staff are quick on their feet and helpful too. Crowds are always present be it afternoon or evening! Shawarma roll is prepared fresh every day and is massive!!

Peri Peri Shawarma had mix of their secret peri peri sauce along with big generous chunks of chicken and french fries with pickles. It was a perfect pick for people who love spicy food. It was also packed neatly for takeaway order!

Firangi Shawarma had mix of garlic mayo and again chicken pieces were in abundance. This had lettuces in it which brought good freshness. This has subtle flavour and bit on sweeter side.

Overall my experience at this particular outlet of Shawarma Ji has been above expectations. Looking forward to try more of their varieties like Classic and Butter Chicken...

So Shawarmaji is a small outlet situated in vasant vihar Thane . The place is really small and modest , but has a very huge fan base which it acquired within a short period of time. This joint is actually owned by friends, who left their job and wanted to do something different. And they very much succeeded. The outlet serves a wide variety of shawarmas and salads can ask never ask for more . Their shawarmas are so famous that even if it will take time to be made, people wait for it . And after our visit yesterday, even we feel the wait is worth the taste .

What we had ?

🔶 Firangi Shawarma :- This one was quite unique in taste , not too spicy. The chicken was in good quantity. And it was loaded fully. It included fries and lettuce in it .

🔶Peri Peri Shawarma :- This one was spicy and taste was perfect. Again the quantity is good enough. We had 6" one .

🔶 Chicken Tikka :- we had this one packed , packing was great no spilling nothing. This was also really delicious.
